Dr. Alex G. Pappas received his B.A. in biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton and graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.Â As a result of his exceptional academic achievements, Dr. Pappas was inducted into the prestigious OKU Dental Honor Society.Â He also received numerous awards for outstanding clinical achievements in advanced fixed prosthodontics and periodontics.Â Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Pappas continued his training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a 3-year post-doctoral program in Periodontics and Dental Implantology.Â He has been trained extensively in periodontal plastic surgery, oral reconstructive surgery, implantology and periodontal medicine.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, Academy of Osseointegration and the …American Dental Association.Â Dr. Pappas speaks Greek fluently as a second language.

Dr Alex Pappas is very cocky and arrogant. When my gum procedure failed he wanted to charge me again for correcting his mistake. Made feel uncomfortable sitting there. Dr Ienna is great by the way.

Dr Pappas and his team could not have been more enjoyable to deal with. Mouth surgery is never fun but Dr. Pappas comfortably walked me through each step and his assistants were amazingly caring and calming. During my extraction Dr. Pappas specifically advised what he was doing and what I should expect. This made the process better than I could have imagined. As someone who doesn’t like a regular oral exam, I was very comfortable with the way Dr. Pappas and his staff performed their craft. I would highly recommend Dr. Pappas and his office to family and friends or to anyone looking for oral surgery. I had a great experience considering it still was oral surgery.

Dr. Pappas has a great bedside manner - he is witty, insightful and helped put me at ease in the chair. The extraction was done with great precision and care. Dr. Pappas has my utmost confidence. Love him!

It took me months to figured out what went wrong after my visit to Alex Pappas's office -- unnecessary procedures were prescribed and performed improperly. It seems that Alex Pappas cannot even get his tools sterilized properly. Infection is a really painful thing, he should know and he shall not risk that just to make more money.

I have seen Dr Ienna for few procedures and I absolutely love the doc. He is the most compassionate doctor I have had work on me. Unfortunately my last procedure was Dr Pappas I felt completely violated. He is highly unprofessional, cocky and rude. He made me feel like a child and wouldn't explain to me why I needed a second procedure after he was done with the first. I will not go back to the office unless Dr Ienna treats me.
