Dr. Alex Victor Stock, MD

Dr. Stock was my grandson's pcp for 13 years, and also pcp for many other family members for decade or longer. He is absolutely a real doctor and cared for his patients. Honestly though, the staff that he had to work with were not least bit concerned about their patients at all. Honestly, I do not know how he could even work with his staff, as they had no work ethics. Who knows, perhaps that why he left Novant, they really lost a very good very real doctor. that day. Honestly, just because someone spent lots of money, went to school long time, and has a doctorate, seems nowadays, just a doctor on paper, because in real life, they are not the least bit concerned for their patients, especially the elderly. Honestly, they have 15 minutes time limit and are too busy looking at their watch, see when their 15 minutes up.

Dr. Stock was my doctor for over six years. You couldn’t ask for a better doctor. He left the practice and no one will tell me where he is now I would sure be there. The other doctors that are at Lakeside primary care have treated their patients that are left horrible so the ones that I know have not gone back there and will not go back there

He is my spouse's doctor.I have no problem with him, but his support staff and nurse are horrible. My spouse got out of the ICU three weeks ago. I have called constantly to try to get the equipment that he needs to live. At least twice a week for three weeks. The nurse who comes to our home has also called. Neither of us had return calls. Then his nurse, had the audacity to say I was yelling at her. She cannot tell that a frustrated wife, calling at least twice a week for three weeks is upset because they are doing nothing. The same nurse. I will call her Ms. R lied to the nurse at our home today. NO sense of urgency that my husband has a 80 oxygen level when it should be in the high nineties. If you need urgency then do no choose Dr. Stock because his support staff does not care if you can't breathe!!!! I am disgusted and appalled. His staff only want a paycheck for doing absolutely nothing. His staff needs to get another job. Nursing is supposed to be compassionate. I had none when… I called.......

Best experience I've had with an MD in years. Knowledgeable and caring. My whole family sees Dr. Stock and loves him too!

I wrote a review a while ago, but I feel I have to update it. I had a frustratingly difficult diagnosis that took an MRI to find - but no other doctor would take my complaints seriously, not until Dr. Stock. I don't think I'd be alive today without Dr. Stock's caring nature and his resolve to find out what the feth was wrong with me. He has continued to be the most involved PCP that I have ever had. This is a true Medical Doctor, a man that took his Hippocratic oath seriously. I strongly urge anyone looking for a doctor in the Concord/Harrisburg NC area to ask for him specifically. He's a gem amongst pebbles.

Dr. Stock listened to me and took time to talk to me. He made me feel like he cared. He took a lot of time with me without looking at his watch or being interrupted. Dr.Stock is a very kind man. He also told me to call back if I wasn't getting relief from the medicine.

Dr. Stock is very personable and has a very caring manner. He is not hesitant to refer you to specialists or to order tests that are necessary. Always spends ample time in explaining diagnosis and care plan as well as making sure all questions are answered.
