He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Pediatric Surgery Association.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Chalphin is a proud husband and father of two young, rambunctious girls. He enjoys running, guitar, cooking, and following Washington, DC sports teams.
