Dr. Alexander Charles Davis, MD

Dr. Davis is the most caring doctor I have had. If he is not sure about something with your health, he will either refer you to a specialist or contact another doctor to get his opinion.

When we signed up, we expected a Marcus Welby practice as Dr Davis presented. Instead, the office seems to be a circus with inappropriate scrub uniforms or clothing for an upscale concierge practice. My husband notice little characters that were yellow with big eyes or glasses and one person had an earring in her nose. He thought he went to a pediatric office by mistake. It's a three ring circus with so many employees and inappropriate dress code. Dr Davis is great. He greets us with a smile and knows exactly what needs to be done with our problems. He keeps us under his wing and control of our health.

Nice office to go to, but it's time for a facelift. Concierge practice should have little staff. This office is full of staff. More staff than patients. Uncomfortable going into an office full of employees when a small practice was one of the top reasons we continued with Doctor Davis.

We enjoy our visits to Dr. Davis. He is polite and caring. Very experienced in diagnosing. Erin is courteous and respectful, but the few others are not. They are rude and as my grandma would say - snotty brats. Very disrespectful and turns their nose up at patients when they walk in. We have noticed there are a lot of staff for such a small practice. We wonder if they are needed and if our annual fee will continue to rise to pay staff.

The one thing I like is the waiting room decor. It can use some updating, as it's been the same decor since they opened the new practice, but it's still nice. The wait time to see Dr Davis is not bad, but the wait time for testing is a lot longer. The testing staff is slow. They do not concentrate or pay attention to time. Dr Davis is prompt, reason for short wait time. He does seem do diagnose correctly, but I haven't needed a lot of diagnosing. He is nice, but doesn't want to listen. He seems to delegate work he should be doing. Follow up is not up to par with this practice. Supposedly, 24/7 availability with Dr Davis, but we haven't seen it. Follow-up should be attached to the 24/7 availability. I'm older and would like to talk with Dr Davis more so than his staff. Speaking of staff, they are not courteous. My friend and I went together and they we not very courteous. I don't want to name names, but the newer employees from about several years ago through today are rude. One of… them comments about every patient after they speak to them on the phone. Not very appropriate comments. I miss working just with Dr Davis and Erin. We all do. We prefer just working with them directly, but too many others seem to get involved and they don't know us.

Excellent in all respects. Would highly recommend.

We are thinking about leaving the group. We've gone to Dr. Davis for many years and have tried their new model of care. While it is a good model of care, it is expensive. We don't like seeing our money thrown away with how the office is being presented. A lot of people and no patients waiting. We would like our fee to go towards our healthcare, 24/7 contact with our doctor when needed, more personal attention, etc, He is a very good physician, just not getting my money's worth. We feel we are working with everyone but Dr. Davis. We recommend the practice, but will pass on concerns.

In regards to wait time, we wait in the office and then we wait some more in the exam room. The wait time isn't great. Appointments are easy when you pick up the phone and call. I'm not so sure about their paitent website. It's too cumbersome to use. It doesn't tell us anything significant. Miss Tarra is best to deal with in making an appointment. She knows the office in and out and how it should operate. She should write working rules, policies and processes for staff to follow. Dr Davis is prompt, but has been behind on occasion. He is a very smart gentleman and gives us accurate diagnosis. The staff seems to be a little out there and not all there at times. The newest member of their staff doesnâ??t fit in with the practice with the way she looks/dresses and talks. Several of us have noticed larger holes in her ears and a few tattoos on her leg area. Just not quite right for the office . We are stunned that Dr Davis, being a well distinquish man,… accepts with the way they look and act. The other one is young and bratty and needs help in how to dress appropriately. She is disrespectul to patients. I've seen it first hand when she told me to stop talking so she could answer my questions, when I was not done. She needs to leave or give her only a part time desk job when patients are not in the office. Wasn't pleased with her doing our testing. We asked Dr to verify our results. She flips her hair and flips her body getting up out of a chair. She is gangly acting. We would recommend her having no contact with patients. Patients should highly question her experience with job responsibiliites. Several of us walked out together on a Friday a few months ago. We understand having a casual day, but sloppy, oversized sweatshirt is not casual office attire. Their individual areas are messy and out of order. Junky looking and it isn't a presentable site for patients, pharmaceutcal reps, or others to see. Lab room is uninviting. Too much like a typical doctor's office. It's also messy, as I have on occasion, seen blood/urine collections lined up on the counters to be procssed. The quantity made me believe they were sitting around a long time. If that was my blood, I would not appreciate it just sitting around, with the possibility of getting mixed up with others. This also leads me to believe they don't know how to complete tasks, unorganized. Office isn't busy, especially with the reduction in patient numbers. Should be plenty of time to get their work done in a day. It's called orgnizational skills. We don't like the testing room being moved down to room 3. If Dr Davis doesnâ??t have as many patients, then the testing room should be moved back to room 2. 1st office for Dr Davis (closer to him). 3rd and 4th offices are for Dr Monaco (closer to him). Dr Davis mentioned that people could not accurately do the hearing test which was the reason for the move. Just tighten up the ear pieces and ask staff to be quiet when testing is going on. It was more organized in the past and seemed to work. Itâ??s not very productive for the extra time to walk back and forth down the hall. Early on, the office ran smooth. Abut 6 months end, office started going down hill and deep in mudd. A new Office Manager needs to be chosen. You can't run an office if you are not in the office to supervise staff. Rule books, procedure books, dress codes, etc need to be used by the employees. I was an HR manager and understand office processes and procedures. The MD's need to chart the staffâ??s day to day duties, verifying they are performing the procedures correctly. Keeping them accountable for their work. We all know they don't call prescriptions out correctly. Many mistakes have been made and we have heard patients call and complain, as well as mentioned to the staff as they were being called back. Too many new employees have come and gone. There needs to be an employee handbook to follow. Maybe a 3 month probation period. No vacation until after 6 months. No increases or bonuses until after 5 years of employment. A company doesnâ??t reward staff just to keep them employed. The staff is not courteous to anyone that walks through the office unless a physician happens to be in the front area. The staff acts the way they need to in front of the doctor, but when his back is turn, watch out, itâ??s a whole different act. Doctors have good bedside manners and spends time with their patients. I don't receive follow up calls from the doctor. The follow up calls should come directly from the Dr Davis. We need to hear their voice knowing everything is good. Not from someone who doesnâ??t know us. A long standing doctor in the community. Family man yet takes care of his patients.

I've been seeing Dr Davis for many years. It's fairly easy to get an appointment when I call. He's prompt for my appointments. Erin tries to be friendly, but seems fake. There are other staff members who do not acknowledge when we walk through the doors. I'm older and I can read people. I can see the ones who want to work ad those who don't. The employees Dr Davis has do not want to work. There has been a tremendous amount of turnover with employees at the office. This turn over doesn't look good for the office, as well as it makes us wonder what's going on. Seeing this, and for someone who has been in the working field for years, makes me ask if these people are really necessary for the office. Dr Davis doesn't have near the amount of patients he had in his old office. What makes the office so busy that there are all these people. Dr Davis needs to step up to the plate and do some of the work. I would have to admit that his staff is not courteous or… professional. I hear them talk about other patients, which is not very considerate or professional. Dr Davis has given an accurate diagnosis. His bedside manner could improve. I rememder when he had an outstanding bedside manner, but at the new office it's gone by the wayside. I wonder if his staff, the morale of the staff is causing his bedside manner to go away. Doesn't really spend any more time with me than expected. I would prefer to hear from him than one of his staff members who do not know me and who do not understand questions when asked.
