No one could have treated me with more care and respect than Dr. Hindenburg.

Dr. Hindenburg is by far the best oncologist on Long Island.I’m a 24 years patient.

Diagnosed with Breast Cancer 2 years ago. Dr Hindenburg is God sent. He is very friendly, hightly intelligent in his field and knows what he is talking about. He is very patient when I ask him tons of questions and answers them, in depth. Whoever wrote bad reviews, don't believe. I have been to tons of doctors and Dr Hindenburg is the only one I would want to treat my cancer!

First impression was he's very smart, second impression was he seemed more concerned with the cancer research registry than my own personal diagnose and care. I don't even think he looked at my blood results on the second visit since when I (had to) asked about the results, he said they looked fine. I called the nurse navigator a few days later with a few questions, she said my results indicated I should take a Vitamin D supplement because my level was 1 point above 'low'. The doctor never said a word. Needless to say I switched doctors.

Smart guy but should be in different dept of medicine. I'm on my own with cancer. Kokotus the surgeon was just as bad. No caring or follow up after selling surgery. Very poor treatment

He is a wonderful sincere , to the point Dr, speaks to you in laymen terms.

Dr. H is a consummate professional who explains the nature of the disease and the latest research in an effort to tailor treatment to his patient.

Dr. Hindenburg is treating me for a chronic blood condition. He's intelligent and professional. He and his staff are very good about following up on tests and answering my questions. Dr. Hindenburg is above all, reliable and consistent. He knows his field and cares about doing his work well. I highly recommend him.

He is very opetimitic until the treatment isnt working. Then he just cuts you off and avoids you. And if you go to Winthrop emergency room and you are no longer his patient, because you had to go somewhere else for treatment. You will be left in the waiting room to die.

Diagnosis for cancer is the most difficult you will ever hear from a doctor whether you be the patient or the loved one. Whichever you are -- please do not allow the diagnosis to come from this heartless practitioner. He is without a doubt so devoid of compassion that it borders on evil. Regardless of whether my mother survives this disease or not he will forever be etched in my memory as the man who did nothing to make this horrific journey easier nor less painful. He is an horrific human being.
