Dr. Alexander Korchmarev, MD

He may be a specialist in some areas, but not in supervision of antidepressant withdrawals. Although unintentional, his profound lack of education in this area will do damage to anyone who trusts him. Trusting him was the worst experience of my life. He shouldn’t be allowed to practice in psychiatry. I know what I’m talking about. Please/ go elsewhere for help.

Extremely sneaky and manipulative... be careful what you tell him and how you speak with him. Doesn't ask clarifying questions and makes assumptions about your life by speaking with you for 15 minutes. Also check your medical statements , he likes to throw in there extra charges. The level of greed is sickening. UGH

Just confirmed that Dr Korchmarev received kickback money from drug companies by pushing certain antidepressants! He’s an unethical, uneducated and greedy psychiatrist. He did great damage to my life. Please don’t go to him for psychiatric help. Not a safe choice!!

Trusting Dr. Korchmarev was the WORST EXPERIENCE of MY LIFE. Uneducated about safe antidepressant withdrawals. I suffered for years because I trusted him. Guessing Game of Psychiatry without enough education to put the patient’s well being first. This psychiatrist is in it for the money. He even changed my records after causing me CNS damage and Neurotoxicity with his incompetence. He also diagnosed me with PTSD as a result of his horrible supervision of SNRI meds. I’m suffering years later from Dr. K, who caused me enormous life pain and I wish I would’ve sued him. Deserves to lose his license.

Do not trust this greedy psychiatrist. He weaned me off 15 years Effexor in 4 months. I suffered horrific fight/flight 24/7. He kept throwing new meds at me that never helped. I researched and found out the FDA recommendation to IMMEDIATELY GO BACK ON MED & TAPER SLOWER if this happens. Dr Korchmarev didn’t cause he’s uneducated. I suffered Neurotoxicity and he diagnosed me with PTSD from his stupidity. I never recovered and had to go on Disability. Stay aware from this dangerous man.

Going to Dr. Korchmarev was the WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE! He is uneducated and negligent when withdrawing patients from antidepressants. I had horrific terror withdrawals 24/7 & he didn’t do what FDA recommends- immediately go back on meds and then taper more slowly. He didn’t have me do that! I got diagnosed with PTSD by him. Lost my career and became DISABLED. He ruined my life, then LIED on my records that were typed up. He should have lost his license. From the bottom of my heart, please stay away from Dr. Korchmyarev. 8 years later and I NEVER RECOVERED. Stay away from this dangerous psychiatrist.

He deserves jail for life. He also LIED on my records not reporting my terror withdrawals. The FDA recommends to put patient back on meds immediately and taper slower if withdrawals are severe. This uneducated psychiatrist did not do that and I’m now Disabled!

Years ago I was damaged during antidepressant withdrawal supervised by the incompetent Dr. Korchmarev. When I went to file a complaint because he NEGLECTED TO FOLLOW FDA RECOMMENDATIONS to put patient back on medication immediately if withdrawals were severe - I needed a copy of my records. It took a week and they were carefully TYPED UP. He excluded all my distraught phone calls and appointments freaking out for help from non-stop panic and terror from withdrawal. But he should’ve been arrested - he diagnosed me, and it’s in my typed records, with PTSD as a result of the withdrawals. But he didn’t notate the withdrawals! He’s an unethical, money greedy human who should’ve been sued. Be careful if he’s your doctor. I deserve justice from what this doctor did to damage me life without justice being done.
