Dr. Alexander T Massengale, MD

I came to Dr Massengale several years ago, after my previous gynecologist, who I had seen all of my adult life retired. He was highly recommended to me by several people. At the very first visit I knew I had made the right decision. He is very caring, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. He takes his time and makes sure all your concerns are taken of before leaving his office. Would definitely recommend Dr Massengale.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this man and how seriously he upholds his grounds as a physician. During an annual check-up, he noticed a small lump in my breast, although at this point there wasn't a concern, but he took it very seriously. Had he not, my breast cancer would have gone unnoticed. I owe a debt of gratitude to this man, and would recommend him highly to anyone that asks!

Dr. Massengale is a wonderful physician. I have been seeing him for over 10 years. I delivered my second child with him. He was so understanding regarding my detailed natural birth plan and did everything to comply with it. He also was very helpful in the decision making process to have an epidural after 16 hours of labor. His bedside manner is the best. He will touch your arm to show compassion and that is what we as human beings need in such moments as child birth. Younger doctors are taught not to touch their patients. I would recommend him 100% to anyone.

Dr. Massengale has been my doctor for almost 10 years. He is a wonderful physician and caring person. His knowledge base is phenomenal, and his manner is courteous and thoughtful. In my opinion, he is one of the best doctors in his field, and I would recommend his services to everyone!

Dr. Maaengale is a truly wonderful doctor. He is not just excellent in his field of expertise; he takes time to know is patients. Basks about my family by name, even sent condolence cards when grandparents passed. Don't know how I'll choose a new doctor if Dr. Massengale ever retires, can't imagine how any could even come close.

Every single fantastic, caring, exceptional thing you have EVER heard about Dr Massengale is UNDERSTATED!!! He is one of a kind & all the women in my family think they broke the mould when they made him. Dr. Massengale is a wonderful doctor. He was my mother's OB GYN for years, delivered me, and now he's my doctor! He's the only doctor that my grandmother, mother and I trust. He has diagnosed and solves many of our health issues and concerns! He always make me (and my family) feel comfortable and cared for. Reading other reviews online, it seems that EVERYONE agrees with me. I'm grateful to have such a genuinely kind and intelligent doctor.

If you are looking for an OB GYN that cares about both you and your baby's health, then Dr. Massengale is the dr to go to. If you have endometriosis and need surgery for it, he is also the dr to go to. He listens to you and your concerns and takes the time to answer your questions. He delivered my first baby a little over 5 months ago via c-section and did an excellent job in the surgery. While doing my c-section, he also removed any endometriosis that he found before stitching me back up. During my recovery (once released from the hospital) I had to call over the weekend due to heavy bleeding. He not only addressed my concerns and answered my questions, but also made a point to call me the following day to check on how I was doing! That is how a dr should be and is very rare to find these days! The nursing staff is great as well. They are kind and love to joke with you and put you at ease. They are always quick to get back to you when you call with a question and take the time to… address any questions you may have. I would highly recommend this Dr!

Dr. Massengale delivered all three of my kids. They are now 30, 28 and 26 years old. He holds a special spot in our hearts.

I can't say enough about Dr. Massengale and what a wonderful doctor he is! I've had two c-sections (I opted for the procedure both times after learning first baby was breech) and both surgeries were flawless. He is an excellent surgeon and is very attentive during post-partum care. I only wish more doctors were like him.
