I have been a patient of Dr. Alexander Mercer for over 25 years. He is such a wonderful doctor. He makes sure that you take your medicine correctly and he gives you the right prescriptions to meet your needs. I will not deal with any other psychiatrist and I'm proud to have him as mine. He is very loyal to his patients and his knowledge is far beyond any others. I appreciate him for all he has done for me and I will continue to visit his facility until I take my last breath. Thank you Dr Mercer for everything!!!

Believe the many negative reviews and avoid this arrogant and incompetent fraud! There couldn't be worse!

Went to him for 6 months and was worse at the end of 6 months than when I started. Began with a new doctor and was cured in 1 visit.

If he tries to put you on Clonopin don’t take it. He kept me on it for years. It is so hard to get off of It’s not worth Taking!!! ?????? I found out I had heart problems that was causing my anxiety and depression. Get a complete physical. Try exercise instead !! Please don’t take that drug.……

Tried to schedule an appointment (as a new patient) on 2 occasions. The 1st went something like "oh the scheduler is out of town; she'll call you as soon as she gets back".... No call. I call back..."Oh, well, we're not scheduling anyone". Glad we have other options, though, of course, there's no one they can recommend.

Completely incompetent! Made an incorrect diagnosis after one 15 minute visit! Prescribed medications and sent me into a tail spin. Cold staff, and terrible bed side manner for a doctor. If they had negative stars that is what they would receive. He should not even be in practice! Do not go to him if you value your life!

I came to Dr Mercer from NY..i just moved here to Georgia and needed a dr. I will say the care i recieve from Dr Mercers office is exceptional.

Prescribed med that should never be for patient with high blood pressure, glaucoma or kidney problems. He doesn't understand relationship between hp and kidney problems. My depression med is the worst to get off of. He told me and incorrect and dangerous way. Luckily my Primary is well up on meds and advised me the correct way with fewer side effects. Of course the bad side effects I had while on his med( HP,double heart beat, tinnitus) were all my fault. A wasted 6 years!
