Dr. Alexander A Meski, MD

I visited Dr. Meski for ten years and would actually love to get the opportunity to see him again. I live in Alabama so it is very hard for me to find a way to his office now in my condition.

I saw this doctor when I was 17 for depression. I'm 25 now, and today, I tried to set up an appointment. They were able to pull up my information, but for some reason now, I'm considered a "new patient". Therefore, I can't make an appointment. Every single other Psychiatry office I've called in Carrollton doesn't accept new patients. It's especially disappointing that the one with my information on hand can't manage to work something out with me. The phone staff is just about as compassionate as any other psych. office I called. Meaning it felt like I was talking to an overworked, underpaid drone who is inconvenienced every time the phone rings. I know your job is mundane - so is mine. But who **** in your Cheerios? I guess finding someone personable to run the front desk is kinda like setting up a Psychiatry appointment in Carrollton - impossible. Basically, Dr. Meski, "professional" is not a word I find to be synonymous with your office. Finally, vitals, please update your website.… If a doctor is in fact NOT accepting new patients, then maybe you should remove the green check and the "Accepting new patients" line. Is this a joke? I'm pinching myself.

Great doctor. Worst staff in the medical profession. Have considered going elsewhere because of the office staff. Honestly I don't know why Dr Meski puts up with it. I have voiced my opinion to him on several occasions. Rude, obnoxiuos.

My husband, and I love Dr. Meski - he's professional but, not dull like a lot of Doctors. Very friendly, and interested in our health - both physical, and mental.

Dr. Meski is the best Doctor in his field! I placed my life in his hands and I consider him a friend as well as my Doctor.

I have waited 90 minutes for him before. He was very valuable in diagnosing my problem and figuring out what medicine would work, don't get me wrong. He is a great place to start for anyone with psychiatric problems that they need dealt with immediately. But after I was stable on medication, he made it clear that I was wasting his time with appointments. He never remembered my name and commented that my problem wasn't serious anymore. I don't know why he made me come in every 60 days for years. Too much waiting time, too much work missed, and too much money on co-pays. I found a different doc who kept my medicine the same (Prozac) but only wants to see me twice a year. And he is open more than 4 hours on a Friday.

Dr.Meski has been a "God Send" to me and my family:>) He is a presious man and anyone would be lucky to have him as a doctor. I could never repay him for all he has done 4 me. May God Bless Dr.Meski and his family always and forever.

Dr. Meski was wonderful. He took the time to talk about everything. He was encourage and offered alternate treatment options. I would recommend him to anyone!

it seems impossible to get anyone to return your call to make an appointment! You always get the voice mail and then IF they call it usually takes more than a day to return your call.
