Excelent doctor. Helped my mother a lot with an infection on her leg.

Can't believe the ratings are anything less hen GOOD for Dr. Maldanado. While I did found it somewhat difficult to deal with the procedural staff requirements in order to set up my appointment and access to Sutter Health login I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr. Maldnado. His attention to my every concern and his medical advice is Five Star.

El año pasado en septiembre para ser exacto enferme de dolores en la cabeza muy fuertes acudi con el dr Maldonado y me reseto medicamento que lejos de ayudarme me hastían sentir peor le notifique y el me lo cambio que tampoco me sirvió el decía que yo tenía depresión y que por eso me dolía la cabeza en fin no hubo de otra más que referirme con un neurologo en esos momentos yo estaba desesperarada le pedí una licencia para no ir a trabajar y el solo me dio 2 días yo estuve enferma por 28 dias y dolor no paraba y el me decía que no podía faltar tanto al trabajo en fin hase poco me diagnóstico diabetis y le pedí que me ordenara la máquina para tomarme la azucar y No quiso dijo que no la necesito y yo tan tonta que permiti que todo esto pasara para desidir cambiarlo ?????? muy descontenta y frustrada por no defenderme en su momento.

I went in for a very first appointment and they went through the basic weight, blood pressure review and Alex came in for about 5 minutes to chat. I had just had a blood pressure issue from taking too much over the counter claratin D ....long story short the visit was really basic, short and no good advice was given. Alex seemed a bit checked out and despite trying to make some small talk and build a relationship (this being my first visit) he was really no receptive and less than warm or welcoming. That being said he gave me a piece of paper which was a print out of a basic excel doc that had a column for dates and a column for a random blood pressure measurement (my 3rd grader could have made it)....I was to come back 6 weeks later having done at least 10 random measurements. I also asked him to write a prescription for flonase for my allergies. He did but post...trying to get the prescription filled it was wrong the first and 2nd time I had to have it written and THEN I… was notified by the pharmacy that the prescription he wrote was more expensive than if I bought it over the counter. SO I didn't even end up using the prescription...didn't need it for one and two it was MORE EXPENSIVE!!!! I then received a random bill for 172$...after paying a co pay before I left the actual appointment and have called in at least 4 times trying to get a call back. They have a "calling service" which takes vm's but obviously they don't call anyone back. Today, I finally got someone live and they want me to write a letter to Alex to see if he will waive the random, unexplained bill.......WOW. That was and will be my last visit.....This doctor is a rip off artist.

Office staff very professional and nice, however would never go back to see doctor. He was very unprofessional, defending a fellow doctor when I was the patient. He never checked my heart and by the end of the visit had offended me in a way that I have never been offended. While this may not be the normal experience with this doctor, I would never go back and have never been treated by a doctor like this before.
