Dr. Alexander Thien-Quang Nguyen, MD

Dr. N and his staff are fantastic. I had mastectomy with reconstruction and even a failed flap that had to be redone. One of the most important procedures to me was a lymph node transplant which put more circulation in my right hand. I now have very little swelling on that side and it was due to the restructuring of the lymph pathway. I'm very grateful and do trust his expertise. Michelle in his office is kind and compassionate as well. I trust him fully in what he does.

Dr Nguyen was informative but it wasn't information I didn't already know/research. He was rude condescending and basically called me fat. He performed a bedside sono on "one extremity" and neglected to exam the other. I am still contemplating if I want to contact TMB re: his unprofessionalism and the medical staffing office at Medical City as well. I was so upset after leaving this man's office. He treated me like a person in the streets. I am affluent provider myself and practice in a highly specialized area. I did not appreciate his tone or insinuations. However, I am still trying to come down from being so mad before I contact anyone else re: his behavior. I would not call that bedside manner because he basically acted like a thug.

What a wonderful kind Doctor who really knows what he’s talking about . I’ve had an ongoing infection/ inflammation in the eye due to a rare eye disease. I’ve tried many treatments over the course of two years . He was on call for another doctor put me onto other medications and I have had immediate relief with the swelling having gone down in just one hour. He gave me some great advice and I felt very confident in his ability . He’s much younger than I am but he is extremely knowledgeable and very confident in what he does . He’s a good doctor who I would see him again. I highly recommend him .

I was completely on the same page with the doctor. Unfortunately my insurance is being difficult and would approve my surgery. But I am devastated by this and woshnao much he could do my breast revision. Great person and doctor.

The insurance person filed my insurance claim incorrect and added a purely cosmetic procedure which made the insurance deny my claim unfortunately
