I had a Rhinoplasty from Dr. Ramirez in 2011. I was under the impression that he was very experienced with rhinoplasties and trained medical students in Hawaii. My experience was heart breaking. Too much cartilage was taken from the first surgery and I ended up with line across my nose where it sunk. We tried Alloderm with him telling me that my body would not absorb it, which it did. Then we tried using ear cartilage to build up the sunken areas. This also collapsed within a year. At this point my nostrils were flared from so much scar tissue build up, it has completely sunken in again, and looked far worse than the original surgery. I have had two other revision surgeries from another dr to try and correct the damage. They helped a bit, but I'm still extremely unhappy with my nose. At this point I have to throw the towel in and live with it. If this post saves anyone the anxiety, depression and lack of self confidence I have experienced over the last 8 years then it will… be worth it.

Dr. Ramirez is an excellent doctor. He is extremely attentive to his patients and has an excellent bedside manner. He is able to quickly and accurately diagnose problems and efficiently take care of them. He is also an excellent surgeon.

I had surgery on my nose for the removal of cancer, and he was the one that stitched up my nose. He did a wonderful job and thus far it is healing wonderfully. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was referred by a family member for my daughter's bilateral tubes and she was 6 at the time. I would tell everyone to go to Dr. Ramirez he is so patient and will explain the smallest of details. I later used him with my second daughter who had a small form of apnea he took care of her and was so sweet.

I liked that he shook my hand and made an effort. I didn't like that a different provider ended up taking out a growth and determining I had just had a malignancy removed as expressed by my family after speaking with the other surgeon. Ramirez said to come back in six months and check it for signs of abnormal growth instead of opting to remove it this month. That would've been a very huge mistake according to what I was told by my family after they spoke with the second doctor. It concerns me that he might do this to someone else who is locked into one healthcare insurance system. I don't know him well enough, but I recommend another doctor.
