Godspeed, R.I.P. and thank you for the past almost 7 years!

Doctor is innovative and will treat things most mainstream docs won’t but desperately need to. He is herbal and supplements savvy. Ironically, he has a cold, flat, and irritable demeanor. Don’t attempt small talk. I don’t have a problem w/that bc he weirdly cares & believes you. What I do have a problem with is the overall bad vibe and lack customer service of the office/admin staff. I find them particularly rude.

I sought them out for Lyme disease. They assigned me to their PA who is their Lyme expert and so far I am extremely impressed. They are one of only two Lyme Literate MD providers in the area and I'd highly recommend them if this is your issue. Besides treating you just for Lyme-they look at the whole picture. They found some other areas of potential problems that needed to be addressed also.

After my initial $600 appointment with the PA, my follow-up was with Shikhman. He walked into the examination room clearly preoccupied with other matters. He stood against the door, quickly ran through the lab results, told me to avoid certain foods, take a $150+/month probiotic for 6 months, and then return for retesting and treatment. I've been suffering for a decade, now I'm supposed to wait 6 months for treatment? What's the point of retesting if there's no treatment? I felt like there was no care and compassion. The time with him was at most 10 minutes for $155 fee. Shikhman's wife, Galina, manages the office. She's unable to take constructive criticism and defends Shikhman's practices. How can the service improve if you don't listen to your patients and address your weaknesses? Finally, Shikhman seems to be having difficulty in retaining talent. Recently, an MD (Lloyd) and a PA (Gleva) departed the clinic.

Amazing intelligence very kind man

THIS DOCTOR RUIN MY KNEE AND MY LIFE, I WENT WITH HIM BECAUSE MY KNEE WAS SWOLLEN AFTER SEVERA INJECTION OF CORTISONE HE DECIDED I HAD A TUMOR IN MY PARATHYROID . I WENT TO SEE THE SPECIALIST FOR PARATHYROID AND SURPRISE THER WAS NOTHING IN THERE, AND AS A RESULT FOR SO MUCH CORTISONE THE TISSUE ON MY KNEE WAS VERY AFFECTED AND TILL TODAY I AM LIMPING I STRONGLY SUGGEST !!BE CAREFUL!!! HE LEFT ME HANDICAPPED!!!

Dr. Shikhman acknowledges disorders and treatments that conventional doctors hesistate to diagnose. He has great bed side manners and I never feel rushed during my visit. I have been sick for over 20 years and have been put on medication that Scripps never even recommended. He is aggressive with treatment, not the type to sit back and "we will see" how it goes type. I have hashimotos, fibromayalgia, IBS, Lechinsclerosis, intercystial cystitis, degenerative osteoarthritis. Will work with your doctor to get specialty approval.

I was refered to Dr. Shikhman by a friend who said he took a holistic approach to finding and treating what was wrong with you. He has, and has found the underlying problem, suggested a course of action and has helped impliment that plan. I am Very happy with Dr. Shikhman and all his staff.

They don't seem to care about their patients. They don't give accurate billing info. I will never go back.
