Dr. Alexander Shor, DDS

Alexander Shor DMD, MSD is a recognized specialist in prosthodontics, a dental specialty which encompasses restorative and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Shor earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. After dental school, Dr. Shor went on to pursue a three year specialty training in Prosthodontics from the University of Washington in Seattle. In addition to the specialty training he successfully defended his research thesis for which he received a MSD degree (Master of Science Degree).
Dr. Shor%u2019s area of expertise includes: Removable Prosthodontics (Complete dentures, Partial dentures and Implant dentures), Implant Dentistry (Tooth Replacement), Cosmetic Dentistry, Fixed Prosthodontics (Crowns and Bridges), Full Mouth Rehabilitation, and treatment of Tooth wear. Dr. Shor is also an accomplished dental technician- an extremely valuable skill when it comes to the treatment of complex problems and cosmetic dentistry.

Upon completion of his graduate training, Dr. Shor has served as an assistant director at the Graduate Prosthodontics program at the University of Washington. Dr. Shor continues to serve as an Affiliate Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington.
As a testament to his commitment and passion for dentistry, Dr. Shor has published numerous research and technical innovations papers in clinical and scientific peer-reviewed journals. He lectures extensively for local dental organizations and study clubs and for national and international organizations.
