The doctor is very unprofessional and speaks down to the patients. If he did not have a good reputation for what he can do medically, I would have dropped him several years ago when his attitude changed after his divorce. I am also very upset with a letter threatening my not being able to come back in and sending me to collection when I had received only one invoice and my statement from Medicare stated that I did not owe the money if they did not tell me that it would not be paid. After the one invoice, this letter was mailed and before I got it I did receive a call from the office and I told them what Medicare had said....they told me that it was because I had not met my deductible - which is strange since I had been to several doctors before him this year, but told them I thought I had an appointment the next week and would pay then. Two days later I got the threatening letter......after many attempts to collect - yeah, right.....one invoice and a call after the letter was… written. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Dr. Stratienko was very nice but didn't give you time to ask anything. His nurse and some staff need retrained in a few areas. After a couple visits I felt very insecure with their diagnosis.

Went in for follow-up for blood pressure. Was put in a room and staff got all my info and was told that NP would be in shortly. Waited forever. She talked with me for about 20 minutes. She left and said someone would be there in a few minutes to take me to check out. Again I waited forever. Finally opened the door and staff was there to take me up front. Took a seat and by then most were at lunch so I sat more. Check out went good. Over all I was in there for 3 hours. This I say is very unusual. Dr. S and his staff are very good usually. Must have been an off day.

his nurses were disgusted with his lame excuse for leaving us prepped and ready for well over 1 1/2 hours in the OR. Turned off the main lights, shrugged off their operating garb. he successfully, finally, after almost unbearable discomfort for me, placed the stent. I have been on oxygen every day since.

A physician whom I have infinite trust!!!

Have had numerous visits and several Cath exams. Did an excellent job with my carotid stents. A very serious and professional doctor. His staff is excellent and very friendly.

He is a GREAT doctor very caring ,understanding, keeps you informed of any results he may find and explains everything to you. I would not trust anyone else.

Regarding the previous post, you might just die if this doctor doesn't treat your heart attack. He was the first MD in Chattanooga to perform angioplasty for heart attack and is widely regarded as the best coronary and peripheral vascular interventionalist in the area. Additionally, he's a good human being with a great office. I know from personal experience!

First met him in the hospital; I was admitted at 10 in the morning and didn't see him until 8 am the following morning. Recent office visit was very short, very hurried. Had to find him in the hall to request information about the EKG after I overheard him indicating some concern about it into his recorder. If it were a restaurant I'd rate the food average and the service below average
