Dr. Alexander E Yakovlev, MD

Dr. Yakovlev is a really great doctor, he always listen to my needs and treats his nurses with kindness. The NP's that work with him are all equally as great and treat me with respect. I would never go else where for my pain management needs.

You really don't see the Dr. unless he wants to do a surgery on you. He is brisk, hasty, can't speak so you understand him. Does not listen to you, you don't even get to speak. If you see a nurse, you never get the same one. Each one never reads your chart accurately.Even they don't take the time to listen to you. Go Elsewhere to a caring physician.

The first time I 'met' Dr. Y, he was behind me while I was lying down, and he told me all my previous doctors were wrong to have treated me the way they did. He did not say 'hi, how are you, my name is X". He just told me I was wrong and so were my doctors before him. He next tolded me I needed a new surgery. He had the absolute worst bedside manner I've ever seen, and I'm a healthcare provider myself! He never bothered to tell me his name. He never asked me any questions or examined me. He really rubbed me the wrong way by not asking me a thing before telling me what to do and how all my prior doctors had been wrong. He takes a total patriarchal role, like he knows better for me, like I would not understand his decision. Run away. Run far away from this man.
