Alexandra Lauren Acker, MD

Dr. Alexandra Acker is board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received her M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Acker provides comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is committed to providing high-quality, equitable, patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based medicine. She enjoys caring for patients throughout all stages of their reproductive health and across the lifespan, from routine and preventive gynecologic care to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and the menopausal transition. Dr. Acker’s professional interests include quality improvement, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, obstetric emergencies, and labor management. Outside of work, Dr. Acker enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Tessa.
