Dr. Konowal and staff are very caring and compassionate. She answered all my questions and was very thorough with my exam. Highly recommend her for all your eye care needs.

Went for my first appt., waited almost 2 hours. Follow-up appt. was abruptly cancelled twice. Went elsewhere for my eye needs.

Why can't doctors keep appts? I needed cataract surgery and my physician recommended Konowal. Had an appt. to see Dr. Sherman, when I showed up I was told he was running TWO hours late! Re-scheduled, then was told his schedule had changed. Re-scheduled again for early morning. After preliminaries with the nurse, sat in the exam room for over 1/2 hour because Dr. Sherman was "running behind." No respect for the patient.

I went in for an annual eye check up - it will be my last visit to Dr. Konowal. She kept me waiting two hours in her office. When I insisted on an answer as to the delay, she admitted a medical sales person had brought in a piece of equipment that she was enthralled with and she just couldn't stop talking with the sales person. Really! Then I was charged for asking for a written prescription for glasses. Overall, her staff had the same attitude. They were there to do a job and it didn't involved customer service.

If there was a lower rating I would use it. She is a horrible doctor that you should not trust to do cataract surgery. She will not be truthful about her errors and promises things she cannot deliver. She is always in a hurry and is careless as a result which creates danger for the patient.I Other physicians have told me she is not a good cataract surgeon. Her diagnostic equipment is not in good repair, I had to wait weeks to have a cornea test completed at her office. At the surgery center the laser was not working correctly. Beware.

After a very bad experience with cataract surgery from another doctor, I could not see to even drive. She did the surgery on my other eye and actually gave me my life back... I could function again. I could drive again. I can see again. She is an awesome, caring professional.

Recently I had my cataracts removed by Dr. Konowal and I have to admit it was an "excellent medical experience." Everyone in her office was very professional, friendly and caring. I just had had a back operation so her staff was even concerned about me lying down on the table and making sure everything comfortable for me at St. Mark's Surgical facility. I highly recommend Dr. Konowal and have already done just that to several people!!

I am thrilled with my vision, I had the Tecnis lens and I could'nt be happier. Dr. Konowal spends time with her patients and all my questions were answered. I would recomend her to all my friends.
