Dr. Alexandra Eudokia Reiher, MD

Very personable, she actually took the time to listen to all that I was saying and then thought about how we could work on my problems together. Then she went over what I was to do at the end of the appointment and asked if I had questions. Greatest visit I've had in a long time.

I have seen Dr. Reiher for some time now. I cannot express enough what an excellent endocrinologist she is. She listens to all concerns, addresses them and approaches them with logic, empathy, and professionalism. She has the ability to access health concerns quickly while taking careful steps to reach a healthy outcome. Thank you, Dr. Reiher, for restoring my faith in the medical profession.

I was a high stress patient (pregnant, diabetic, and thyroid cancer) and she always made time for me. She would call me at home and weekends to explain my procedures and options. Best doctor ever.

Very good care and follow up. Would highly recommend. Encouraging to patients that need help while being goal and task oriented. Very precise and knows which tests to order and how to best treat the patients.

She pretends to listen to you and does not understand that you know your body better than anyone else. It is her way or no other way. If you tend to disagree with her thru e-mail or want other options, she will not respond. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. Go to another Dr.

Before seeing Dr. Reiher, I had been to at least four doctors with the same complaint; and none of them seemed interested in taking action or performing tests on my thyroid. They were all content with just palpating my thyroid, telling me it was enlarged, and attributing my symptoms (difficulty swallowing and tightness in neck) to stress, anxiety, and/or reflux. However, when Dr. Reiher examined me, she discerned right away that my thyroid felt abnormal, and she ordered an ultrasound. When the ultrasound showed solid nodules > 1cm, she ordered a biopsy which returned cancer. I've since had a total thyroidectomy and I'm doing great. In the six months prior to my diagnosis, at least FOUR other doctors felt my thyroid, and didn't think that an ultrasound was necessary. If Dr. Reiher had not dianosed the cancer, it could have advanced, and would have been more difficult to treat; so in effect, Dr. Reiher saved my life. In addition to being a top notch doc, she is compassionate,… attentive, respectful, calming, and is a great communicator. I'm so lucky to have found her!

Dr. Reiher is an outstanding physician in the field of endocrinolgy, she has guided me through thyroid cancer and has made me feel that all will be ok. Her grasph of the disease and requirements needed for a full recovery are outstanding. She has the wisdom of those practing with 40 years. All I can say is, thank you.
