Dr. Alexandra Saali

Seeing Dr. Saali made me not want to return to Mt. Sinai. I found her dismissive, uninformed, judgmental, and unwilling to listen.

I had an extremely negative experience with Dr. Saali. From the start, she made incorrect assumptions about my background and symptoms without taking the time to listen or ask clarifying questions. It felt like she had already made up her mind before I had a chance to fully explain my concerns. Rather than exploring different possibilities or showing curiosity, she seemed rigid in her thinking and dismissive of anything that didn’t fit her narrow perspective. I expected a medical professional who would approach my health with empathy, knowledge, and an open mind—instead, I left feeling unheard and misunderstood. I would not recommend this provider if you’re looking for thoughtful, individualized care. There are many psychiatrists out there who genuinely listen and take your experience seriously—unfortunately, this was not one of them.
