Dr. Alexandra Jean Strong, MD

Dr Strong repaired a badly torn rotator cuff for me about three years ago. After her exam, she determined surgery was needed for multiple tears in the shoulder. At the time she wasn't too keen on doing the surgery, possibly, in part, because of my age. At my instance, she did the surgery anyway, and did a remarkable job. After recovery and physical therapy, I have full use of my shoulder, and no pain. If a person is looking for an extremely talented surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Strong.

I HAVE HAD TO UTILIZE THE SERVICES OF DR. STRONG ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. EACH TIME SHE WAS CLEANING UP OTHER DOCTORS MESSES. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GOOD YOU DO DR. STRONG.

Rating as good doctor with poor bedside manner. Able to help me with my elbow pain after I over used my arm on carpentry job. Tendon got better after rest and trips to therapy she ordered for 3 weeks. But, don't expect any compassion. Doctor was short with me and gruff. Acts like she knows it all and you are not to ask a question. Took a question I had as a threat and got defensive. Since I am 50 years and been around, don't need this and would not go back. Know there are doctors who explain & teach.

First I hate hate hate hate Doctors but when I went to Dr. Strong for my knee she was very informative and took her time with meâ?¦tried other things before surgery which I liked..couldnâ??t be happier with the outcome of my meniscus tear repair surgery thing she didâ?¦she is straight forward with the recovery even though I am not a very patient person on recovery time Meaning I want to be back full speed now not 6 weeks from now but she explained how I can mess things up worse and she would have to fix bigger problems that wouldnâ??t be easyâ?¦I would recommend Dr. Strong any day of the week for anyone!!! Thank you again for all your expertise in my Knee!!!!!!

Dr. Strong did rotator cuff repair on my left shoulder last year and I am now seeing her for what seems to be a tear in the right rotator cuff. When I first saw her, I was very sick with bronchitis and she was pretty gruff, telling me I had to get my lungs healed before we could even think of surgery. Now, because of her gruffness and my decision to take her advice instead of being insulted, I'm 18 months as a nonsmoker and my left shoulder feels as good as new. I've never been treated rudely by her staff - in fact, the opposite is true. Some people just have a different personality and others can either handle it or not. I, for one, appreciate Dr. Strong's direct nature and her skills as a surgeon.

I saw Dr Strong several times each time I saw her she got increasingly stranger. She flat out lied to me, more than once. I caught Dr Strong in a couple of lies... She told she could fix my torn rotator cuff without surgery - Then after five months of physical therapy (I was still having major issues) and her assistant finally tells me "you know a tear won't heal without surgery". I confront Dr. Strong with this and she says "I told you that!" I felt like I was in an episode of the twilight zone... She never told me that. I won't have someone that lies to my face operate on me. The other thing is she doesn't like to answer any questions. And if she does take the time to answer... The answers always seemed to be qualified with a smug "Just my opinion" remark at the end. Now after wasting 5 months ... I have to start the whole process over again. 6 weeks to heal from the surgery another 6 to 12 months of physical therapy. Not sure what kind of racket they are running but it… should be investigated. She not only wasted my time and money she got my hopes up telling me I didn't need surgery. I would NOT recommend Dr. Alexandra Strong

I found the whole office kinda rude. When your in pain and have to wait weeks for an appointment one might expect some relief. Strong was argumentative and unwilling to listen. I checked into the ER 3 days after seeing her and they actually ran some tests and surgery a week later. If you're in pain, do not expect Strong to have any sympathy. I just returned from the hospital today and can already feel a difference. God has a plan for each of us and mine was definitely not with her.

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to in my entire life. She not only had terrible bedside manner, but was also completely rude. She didn't show an ounce of compassion or empathy. She applied basically none of her education to this particular diagnosis. She literally said I had a bunch of "weird gunk around me knee." I don't believe that's the clinical term...."weird gunk" How she ever came to become a doctor is beyond me. She has set an extremely low standard for doctors, and she needs to leave the metaphors to poets and just give a direct answer to her patients instead of trying to be clever.

Dr. Strong made me feel really uncomfortable. She kept rolling her eyes at me while I was trying to explain where I was having pain. She made me feel like I was in boot camp in the military. When I asked to be seen by another Dr., the office staff said that seeing another Dr. was not allowed. I could tell that she was really smart, but her gruff attitude made me decide to find another Dr.

Slow to return patient calls when leave message. Dr assistant seems in a hurry on the phone and cuts off ur sentences. Misdiagnosing of my problem. Not timely about complaints of pain and needing meds
