Dr. Alexandra Elena Weill, MD

Watching Dr. Weill work in the busy emergency room at Leominster Hospital is a humbling experience. She is masterful! My wife and I spent many hours there recently with my wife's 96 year old mother, and we witnessed firsthand just how caring, attentive and incredibly competent she is. Despite a deluge of patients of all background and nationalities, many with serious injuries or illnesses, she remained patient and unflappable, giving her full attention and counsel to each in turn. We are indeed fortunate to have a physician of her caliber available in our community. She is a winner in every sense of the word!

I was seen in the ER for multiple compression fractures in back. I am familiar with them as I have an old one from 1979. I told the Dr. the back pain was excrutiating and I was having some neck pain as well. She said I was causing confusion. First your back and now your neck. I later learned she did a drug abuse screen on me. Probably thought I was someone off the streets looking for pain meds. Here's an explanation right from WebMD why one would have back and neck pain: When vertebrae collapse, they form a wedge shape, which makes the spine bend forward. Eventually, you’ll have neck and back pain as your body tries to adapt. Dr. needs more training. Waste of insurance companies money paying for drug abuse tests. This is now on my permanent record I was tested for drugs. Therefore this will be on your permanent record the need for additional medical training. Hope this does not happen to another patient who has multiple compression fractures.
