Summary
My name is Lexi Capers and I am honored to be one of the new Internal Medicine Chief Residents for the 2023-2024 year. I was born and raised in Southern California but have been in the PNW for over a decade. I graduated with my B.S. in Molecular Biology with Minors in Chemistry and Sociology from Eastern Oregon University. At EOU, I also played soccer and met my wonderful husband. I received my M.A. at Heritage University and my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) in Yakima, WA. I plan on being a hospitalist after residency concludes next year and I would love to stay in the Tri-Cities region. When I'm not in the hospital, I enjoy fishing with my husband and our rescue dog, gardening, reading fiction, and visiting family. I'm excited to continue to offer high quality evidence-based patient care and making our communities healthier!
