Dr. Alexis Caroline Cutchins, MD

I had an echocardiogram conducted as a part of my evaluation, and Dr. Cutchins conveyed by phone that the findings were "nothing to worry about". Yet, I received later a written the echocardiogram report that details issues observed with EACH of 4 heart valves, but stops short of providing an interpretation about clinical implications of these findings. I called the office and requested a cardiologist's written interpretation of the echocardiogram and a conclusion of my evaluation, whereupon the office sent me only a print-out of the initial notes that Dr. Cutchins had made in my record. My co-pay /co-insurance was almost $500, my insurance company was billed almost $2,000 for one office visit, basic labs, EKG and echocardiogram - all WITHOUT a clinical conclusion that addresses appropriately statements made in writing about echocardiogram findings . This is was a great example of OVERPRICED, SUB-STANDARD MEDICAL CARE where the patient's right to get a complete interpretation of test… findings was not respected. Go elsewhere for cardiology evaluation / care.
