Dr. Alexis Falicov, MD

After surgery to repair fractured patella, left knee, I have endured three years of intense pain and difficulty walking. Now the hardware is broken, and I am falling because the left leg cannot bear any weight. After a recent fall, I went to Urgent Care. The XRays show a disaster, and I have a referral to another surgeon. They expect a new surgery. Dr. Falicov's brief visits with me were rude and dismissive.

Dr. Falicov is very knowledgable and answers questions in a way a non doctor can understand. He carefully reviews the MRI and Ex Ray's with you showing me the concerns. He has performed three fusions surgeries on me and he and his staff have been available to answer questions and help me through concerns. He has had to deal with insurance company issues during which time his staff was wonderful talking me through the wait and assisting me to understand the process. Anyone with a neck and back issue should consider going to him.

Very impressed from scheduling to the consultation Dr Falicov is clearly a real pro and one who I recommend highly. Very detailed and takes you through every specific. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience

I saw him a few years ago for my neck. He never examined me but sent his student in. He did a x ray of my neck. I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and I saw him to see the progression of the disease. The student said once the x ray was done to meet him in the x ray reading room and Falicov would meet us there. He was standing there talking to another doctor and looking at my x rays. I waited about 5-6 minutes. He turned to me and rudely said "your x rays fine" and walked off. Very condescending and arrogant.

About 3 years ago I had severe pain for months in the muscle of my upper right leg. I was further referred to Dr. Falicov by an orthopedic doctor. Dr. Falicov treated my spine with one procedure, and I could again move! I am grateful for his skill!

Dr. FALICOV is pretty awesome. Diagnosed my bad leg injury and get me into surgery that same day. He and his staff fought hard to get me scheduled quickly and at the Swedish Issaquah location which would be much more convenient for my husband and I.

This doctor had we waiting over one hour for each appointment, then rushed me through. do not waste your time because with this doctor as he will just rush you through to next patient.

I love Dr. Falikov. He is the best in every way. Most of all, he loves what he does and he is very, very good at it.

The staff is difficult but he is a wonderful physician who truly understands body mechanics-- he was a physicist! He is conservative in his treatment and does not just rush the patient to surgery.

I cannot say enough about how excellent Dr Falicov is on every level. His taking me as a patient in an urgent emergency situation and how he interacted with me and the time he spent with my daughter after the surgery were so far beyond what one could expect. He always spent time with me. When he told me of circumstances that I would not have range of motion anticipated, he was so compassionate at my devistated response. He returned my three or four subsequent panicky phone calls almost the same day. He spent at least 45 minutes explaining details of my circumstance and trying to help me with adjusting, late at night, the last time I spoke with him.
