Dr Jimenez is an excellent physician with a caring staff that was so attentive to my needs during my first visit to the office. I am a former Army Officer with a knee injury that has caused me so much pain over the years but now my quality of life has truly been improved as a result of his care. I will never forget. I needed xrays and to my surprise, they did then on my first visit, and explained every detail of the next steps in my pain Mgt journey. Not only was I confident that my pain would be managed properly for the first time ever, but I finally felt like someone really cared. I have never experienced bed side manner like Dr Jimenez. He listened intently and was very compassionate despite the frustration I displayed due to my pain. After serving 10 years in the military, it really meant a lot that I wasn’t rushed through like an assembly line but made to feel special for the first time since I got this injury over 20 years ago. Dr Jimenez and his team are top notch. If you are… looking for pain Mgt from a competent and compassionate physician with a patient centered staff, this is the place to go!!!

I came to see Dr Jimenez 7 days post op from lumbar back surgery that resulted in severe complications. My surgeon’s office required me to see Dr Jimenez for a refill on the 1 week supply of hydrocodone. Not only was your questionnaire ridiculously long and mostly not applicable, my time with the physician was no more than 10 mins long, in which time I secured a prescription for 110 pills plus a prescription for Gabapentin (that I did not fill.) It was not until after the doctor left the exam room and we were leaving, that a nurse gave me a bottle for a “urine sample.” I was never informed that 2 extremely expensive drug tests were to be run and that I would be responsible for their payment because insurance only allowed a small allowance towards them. This type of "practice" is taking advantage of people at a time when they are extremely vulnerable.

I was a patient of Dr. Jimenez when he was at Riverside Pain in St. Augustine and was amazed at his professionalism and dedication to the patient. I’m in my early 60s and have been dealing with chronic pain for the better part of the last 30 years, and have been treated by countless surgeons in my hometown of Boston. He has helped me to not only lower my dosages, but also has helped me understand the alternative options and how they may or may not help me in my particular situation. He is a very friendly and understanding man of the utmost integrity, to call him a pill mill is just proof of your ignorance and dependence on pain medications and nothing more. Unlike most of the doctors I’ve been seeing in my 3rd year of living in Florida this man is dedicated to the patient and not the sale of treatment plans that have already proven to be useless in my particular situation. If I could I would give him 10 stars + I certainly would of! ?? ??????????????????+

my insurance changed,stoped paying for one of my meds and he gave me a med I had a bad reaction to and I came in and he stoped it and said hed give me some shots and spinai stuff I had shots scheduled in a few weeks but I get a letter in 5 days saying I'm dismissed.ive been with riverside for years,it really suks.....

You never know until it ends, but so far, wonderful. Still recovering, but Dr F one of very few who "WILL" prescribe pain meds when yo need them. FL was ridiculous one way----now another. If you are "genuinely" in pain, see Dr Jimenez!
