I’m not happy with Dr. Karin. If you don’t understand what she is saying she does not hesitate to show her expression of annoyance. Instead of being understanding or wanting to help you understand she makes you feel like an idiot and will do this in front of others such as in a family meeting to give the family an update on the patient. She has even gone to the extent of making a therapist leave the room with her patient to speak the parent (me) privately where she then showed her annoyance with me in front of my family. I would not recommend this doctor. She is not compassionate or understanding of someone who is there to get knowledge about a problem they are facing.

Knowledgeable and gives enough time to understand issues.

Rare is the doctor who has maintained their sincerity and compassion. Dr. Karim is the first psychiatrist I have ever visited who instantly made me feel safe to open up. I am so glad I found her.

She is not an empathetic person and if you go to seek help is because you need somebody to support you and try to get you better.
