Dr. Alfred Glenn Berwick, MD

Dr. Berwick is one of the most caring doctors that I have found. He and his staff are always nice. They always get back to me with any questions I have. He always takes his time with me as well as his other patients. I never have to wait long in the lobby. He and his staff are very prompt and thorough. It is nice to have a doctor that still cares about his patients.

I wish there was a higher rating than excellent. Dr Berwick is exceptional in his diagnosic skills, caring nature and knowledge of his field. I am so thankful he is my and my husband's doctor!

Well I would love to rate the MD but I was on hold for 26 minutes and during that time asked to hold 3 times. So needless to say I never got an appointment and I will not be using this doctor. I can only imagine the wait in the waiting room!!!

While Dr Berwick was a good primary care doctor for many years for my father, he let him down in the end. He over-medicated him with drugs that were risky in the elderly, he did not coordinate his hospital care adequately, and worst of all, he failed to recognize the symptoms of fatal amiodarone toxicity, which cost my father his life in just four short weeks. He persisted in thinking "everything would work out fine" as my father cont'd to fail each day, and only when it was too late to save him, did he concede that the real problem might have been as urgent and in need of better-informed approaches as our family had been insisting for weeks. In my opinion, he is not keeping current with medical research, and he is in a hurry to brush patients off, esp the elderly. The night my father died, he was contacted by the ICU staff by phone and he asked the nurse to ask us if we wanted an autopsy, but otherwise he did not attempt to come to the hospital or speak with our family, the family… of his patient of 14 years. He and the other doctors at Sadler Clinic were much more concerned about covering for each other's medical ineptitude than in doing the right thing. Shame on you, Dr Berwick. My father trusted you.

Dr. Berwick makes me feel at ease. He is very thorough. His diagnosis have always been excellent - if he has doubts he refers to Specialist. Spends ample time with me. Have never heard derrogatory statements regarding his practice. He's my physician, counselor, Has a great bedside manner. During hospitalizations I've asked nurses their opinion of Dr. B. and it's always we all love Dr. Berwick. Very soft spoken I have all the confidence in his diagnosis and treatments. He is prompt, professional yet courteous. Really has a good ear as I've described my condition. Has a way of making you feel like your ailment is very important to him.Good to follow up.

Both my husand and I have been seeing Dr. Glen Berwick for the past 8 years. I would not use a different physician. I hope he does not retire anyway in the near future. He is the most caring, concerned, knowledgeable physician I have ever been to. If I could rate him with 10 stars instead of the 5, I would do it.

Experienced doesn't always mean "expert". Do not let the 30 years of experience fool you. Don't take my word for it. He has so many patients, you are lucky if he spends a minute with you let alone use his stethoscope on you before telling you what's wrong with your heart.

Thank you Dr for your kindness and professionalism to me and my Mom. We are so greatful to have you and your staff. There are no words to describe how we feel about all of you. We would wait 2 hours to see you if necessary, there will never be another Dr to take your place.
