Dr. Alfred R Johnson, DO

Appointment at 9, finally seen at 11. Steps out after 5 minutes to take a personal cell call (I could hear entire 10 min conversation outside of the door). Orders some bloodwork, emails me results a week later, I reply to ask exactly what they mean and what the next steps are to figure out what's going on with me, get a reply saying "no further action needed". Total waste of my time and money. Very disappointing.

Dr. Johnson is a good clinician. However...his sole reason for being in practice is to run tests for mold exposure and sell you HBOT. He will push HBOT for any every medical disorder. Hyperbaric oxygen is a great treatment, but VERY expensive. Unless you have an open wound, your insurance won't pay, and it's not an applicable treatment. I could write a book about my experience at Dr. Johnson's, but it's irrelevant now. If you truly need HBOT, he's one of the few places who has the beds. He does take phone calls while in your appointment, and the staff is fair at best. Fair is what I'll leave as my review.

Dr Johnson is an excellent diagnostician. He listens to the patient and uses several approaches when treating his patients. He has been my primary care doctor for over 25 years and I believe I would not be able to live my best life if it weren’t for him.

Thank goodness for the doctors who are the pioneers in new fields, though chemical sensitivity treatment has been around so long now and the whole field is so much better understood. There is really no reason for anyone to be ignorant. I have found Dr Johnson’s treatment to be effective and I have also very much appreciated his support in fighting landlords with toxic accommodations.

Dr Johnson is an amazing Doctor. He is THE best specialist in the United States for Allergy and Immunology. Difficult patients all over the world visit him and get help when no other doctor is able to help. I founded the Environmental Health Foundation and wrote the #1 best selling Environmental book in America. I have relationships with environmental Doctors worldwide. Dr. Johnson is my personal Physician. He has saved my life. I highly recommend him for any complex immunological, neurological, or endocrine related illness. He is the BEST!

Dr. Johnson is excellent at diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical issues. He has been my primary care physian for over 20 years. Without his skills I am not sure I would still be living a full normal life. Thank you Dr. Johnson!
