Dr. Alfred Khoury, MD

I read all the reviews prior to meeting with Dr Khoury and they seem to be 50/50. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr Khoury was very appalling, he was one of the worst Drs I've ever experienced. He was very cold, showed no compassion and lacked bedside manner. He refused to see me as a patient due to the high risk of the pregnancy (even though he is a high risk dr!) His treatment plans are "his way or the highway." I would NOT recommend him, there are plenty of other high-risk Drs in the area that are empathetic, compassionate and caring.

My wife and I had read a couple of reviews of Dr. Khoury that painted a picture of the stereotypical uber-competent but cold clinician with no social skills. So we were both surprised to find him very warm, sensitive, and kind. He did a lot of listening and made no effort to pressure us on anything. He even said at one point, "My job is to educate you so that you can decide what's best for you" (re. prenatal tests). He came very highly recommended; another specialist we use called him "the best" for high-risk pregnancies. When he had to deliver bad news to us, he worded it in a very sensitive manner but no less clearly. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Khoury is a very knowledgable professional doctor, I had my ante-natal through my pregnancy with twins 38, with history of chromosomal anomaly in a previous pregnancy. he knew exactly what he is doing.

My wife went to be seen in this practice because some of the doctors have high ratings, and she needed a specialist because she is currently pregnant with Twins via IVF, but has had 3 prior IVF cycles; 1 live birth and 2 miscarriages. This doctor refused to speek to me, and didn't want to speak to my wife because english wasn't her 1st language. He insulted me and told me I had no place to be in the office with my wife during the visit because I was "not the patient", eventhough I was translating for her. Then he told me that he wouldn't see me because he was the doctor and it was his right to refuse patients. He is absolutely the worst doctor we have ever met.

Lacks bed site manners, full of ego and ignorance. Has no compassion. Tells you the worst news and expects you to get over it. Words cannot describe how appalling this doctor is. I think his ego and his career have really gotten to his head and he forgets he is dealing with human beings!Please do not waste time with this doctor. He is bad news!I was offered no help after being told I was in a critical situation with my baby!
