Dr. Alfred Wayne Lee-Young, MD

I have just had one tele-visit with Dr. Lee-Young, with several phone calls to his office prior. I really like the doctor. He is very thorough, welcomed and answered all my questions, and is very professional and kind. His office staff is amazing as well. Like, truly amazing!

He is very good. The only problem I have is getting appts, because of his popularity. My husband and I both hve been going to him for years

Dr. Lee-Young is too busy to care about providing you the care you need. He showed up late to my appointment and I was the first appointment of the day. A week has gone by since I had some tests done and he has yet to call to tell me the results. I've been in terrible pain for many weeks and finally called his office and was told he's busy and there's not enough GI's in Carroll County. You shouldn't have to track your doctor down and beg for help and to be told your test results and what's next.

I have been seeing Dr. Lee-Young for many years. Except for wait time I am very happy with this doctor. His diagnosis has always been accurate and educates me on what is causing my problems. He is very good at treating and explaining treatment options with me. I have called and left messages with his nurse and had expected the nurse to call me back and tell me what I should do for the problem I was having at the time, instead I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Lee-Young was the one to call me back. I had been in the hospital on two separate occasions and needed a consult with a GI doctor and was unexpectedly treated by him there as well. I was just as happy with him there as I was in his office. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a GI doc. Actually I already have to a few family members already.

I felt like I was on an assembly line and that he was working on his 100,000 car. After a long wait, he finally saw me. 5 minutes later he was trying to wrap up the appointment.

I have had to use Dr. Lee-Young on several occasion due to my crohns disease and will continue to use him in the future. He is kind, shows compassion and spends enough time in his office to explain things to me. I would recomment him to anyone.
