Lousy bedside manner. And he was training an assistant in ablation; while testing my nerves with some kind of electrical stimulation device she accidentally turned it up so high it felt like shocking. Lonser was giggling about it.

I am seeing Dr. Lonser for management of chronic pain. He is generous with his time, and I never feel dismissed, or rushed. He's thorough, and if I have a question, he will sit back down and answer my question. I prayed for help and I received it in the person of Dr. Lonser. And, he has a great sense of humor.

Brought mother almost instant relief from an old injury. She received comprehensive care from Dr. Lonser and his staff. He is an outstanding physician for pain issues and employs excellent staff to assist him and the rest of his medical team. Great office to deal with! I highly recommend him.

Arrogant, won't listen to you, doesn't want to hear a thing you say, mumbled and shook his head when I tried to talk. Even his colleagues called him a jerk. Tried to give him a second chance, what a mistake. Wouldn't take my dog to him.

I am very disappointed and concerned. Dr. Lonzer has ignored my symptoms for over two months. I give him specific information about my medical needs and he's completely dismissive. I specifically said I could not have an MRI as I have a pacemaker but he still wrote the order for an MRI instead of a cat scan. So that took two more months to get the right paperwork. I have the cat scan done and then I get a phone call from his MA telling me I have a cyst on my spine that is putting pressure on my spinal cord! So the increased pain along with a handful of other symptoms that he chose to dismiss and wrote off as being my fault (he actually told me he believed it was from me being lazy and overweight!!) so nothing was done for months about my spine. I thought surely once the cat scan results showed I was being honest that he would prescribe medication to help me with my increase in pain and possibly specific nerve medication. Instead he referred me to a surgeon and refused to help me in any… way claiming it could make recovery after surgery more difficult!! So here I am, I'm in extreme pain that I've been telling him for months while I wait day after day to know when I'm seeing the surgeon not knowing when it will be and knowing my dr doesn't care about my increased pain and nerve pain. It's bad enough he ignored my pain but it's discriminating when the reason he did it is because he has an issue with fat people.

You wont find a better pain specialist in the state of Alaska. If your tired of being looked over, uncared for, ignored, rushed, brushed asside, misdiagnosed, and plainly treated like just another face and dollar sign, Dr. Lonser will restore your faith and trust in health care prividers. Yes, there can be a bit of a wait time in the lobby, but if your that impatient you won't find good care anywhere you go! He's worth the wait, and his staff are great!

Whole demeanor changed when I asked questions, became very harsh and talked over me. In a rush to get me out of the office. Doesn't make me feel comfortable at all.
