They up charge patients past what they are contracted to charge with the insurance companies. We verified with the insurance company that they were using bad codes, which they refused to use other codes, and added charges that they were not supposed to since when seeing patients per their contract that they have to do specific things. We are working with the insurance company as witnesses on corrupt billing practices since Anthem now has direct proof of this doctor breaking the contract with them by up charging and miss billing when they are contracted for primary care which is supposed to include chronic care management since that is what primary care doctors do as part of normal-basic primary care. If you have been charged past your copay on a copay only plan report them to your insurance company and request that the insurance company cut their contract with the doctor. You have the right to do this and the insurance company can hold them accountable for breaking the contracts.… History of this, check the reviews on all sites.

All he did was take my weight and height, ask me one or two questions, then send me on my way. For my next two appointments, he called to cancel them the day before, delaying them a mknth. Th en I find out humme coded my first visit so that insurance wouldn't cover it. He is a second rate, NJ third rate doctor and should not be seen by anybody, ever

I have been a patient for over a year. I should have heeded that little warning that went off to find a different doctor; however, his office was a quick commute and I didn't want the hassle of finding another doctor. Hindsight is 20/20. While I have no specific complaints regarding the doctor's medical knowledge or experience, his bedside manner is not the best nor is his respect for patient's time. More often than not, from time of check-in to being seen by the doctor, my wait times have varied from 45-90 minutes. Once seen, more time is spent with him on his laptop and discussing the horrible ski traffic than with questions of health and check-up. The front office is unprofessional and I have serious questions regarding competency. I was once scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. appointment, which was great! Too bad the office was closed for lunch and didn't re-open until 2:45 p.m. My pharmacy has had to request emergency re-fills of my prescription through my insurance because… calls to their office have not been returned for days or at all. A few months ago the office stopped accepting my insurance; the same insurance I had carried for a year. I found out they no longer accepted this insurance when I received a bill for over $200. I called my insurance company and was informed the office no longer participates with my insurance. I understand the office may not be required by law to inform patients when they stop participating with an insurance company; however, where is the common courtesy? Especially when the last two visits I am being charged for, I specifically asked the front office (as I have done for every appointment) if they still accepted my insurance and was told that they do. I have tried to talk to the office manager about this but two messages left to her have gone unreturned.

Dr Alfred E Nash's staff are not nice. Half of them do not even know what their doing. They are nothing but order takers and money grabbers. Their professional outlook is poor in servicing the community. They charge exhuberant hidden costs. What a rip off and disappointment. Shame on them.

Doc does not give patient direction, such as go to urgent care or ER, by phone for acute situations. Instead, he requires appointment but appt may require a 2-week wait or more unless there is a cancellation. Patient has to figure out go to urgent care or ER. He was not notified when I was admitted to hospital. What's the point of having a primary care doc if I'm only seen by urgent care, ER, or the hospital when I am acutely ill? It is difficult to get prescriptions re-filled. The pharmacist and I both have called for prescriptions to be refilled, but repeated calls are sometimes needed.

I felt that I was important to the whole staff. The Dr. Nash spent time to know me.

Excellent and very caring doctor!!

I'm a former patient of Dr. Nash,but I lost contact with him after he left Dr. Russell Simpson office. Every visit I had with him was a wonderful, curteous timely experience and if you have information as to his office location as we speak I would like to know.

Dr. Nash is a highly competent physician. He clearly enjoys working with people, he show compassion and is also able to be firm in regards to your health. Staff was awesome!

Dr. Nash seems to be a competent, bright and compassionate physician. Other than not following up with me after my visit, I have no complaints whatsoever about him.The staff at his practice, however, is another matter. I found them uncaring, argumentative and showing horrible interpersonal skills. I actually had an MA *argue* with me that I was not a regular patient because "our system" didn't show me; she had misspelled my name. That she would use the tone of voice she did and be so combative with a patient is inexcusable. If I were the head of this practice, I would fire the whole lot and start over.
