Dr Newman has always been there for me I highly recommend him!

Prednisone prescription requested for out of country dental implants procedure 6 weeks ago. Prescription never posted in system. My bad to lately discover mistake hours prior to departure, I am told that Dr Newman isn't working and on-call MD wouldn't prescribe the treatment as last CBC was over 6 weeks back (which in fact was 5wks &6 days). Was then left hanging on "Medical grounds" with the only alternative to cancel all travel arrangements and procedures for Matthews Hematology and Oncology to be able to stand by their defective prescription administration or patient medical needs. Not clear in which part of the Hippocratic Oath it says you shall not stand by the word of your Provider and medical interest of your "Patient". Hope these 420mg of Prednisone were worth that much to Matthews Hematology & Oncology.

Dr Newman is an excellent oncologist and I am glad I was sent to him 6 yrs ago. He always listens and responds to messages right away. Answers all my questions and checks very thoroughly when there are issues. I feel confident being in his care with my Leukemia

We have been working with Dr. Newman for a bit of 2 years now. He is amazing to work with. We wanted to try several alternatives before approaching chemo and he worked hand in hand with us all along the way. His advice and caring approach has been wonderful. After 2 years we decided to work with him in chemo and within a month the cancer was totally gone. The staff is also fantastic. Always on the ball to get back with you asap. The truly bend over backwards to accomodate you and your family. A very caring team.

Front staffs need to know that they should not discuss personal business in front of everyone. Front desk staffs will treat you different if you have no insurance. But everyone else is very nice and respectful. Doctor Newman is good at what he do.
