Dr. Alfred Rodriguez, MD

The way the nursing staff here speaks to patients is horrible! I simply was inquiring why a refill had be denied and the nurse starts screaming at me about how I can’t get a refill when I hadn’t been in in a certain time frame. I asked if I could get a refill and then make an appointment which I could but the nurse continued to scream at me and lecture me about how I have to come in. Again no problem doing so but the way she treated me was horrible! I have never been yelled at like that by a medical professional before simply for asking a question. I get she may have been having a bad day but due to her treatment I no longer feel that this is an office I can trust with my medical care. Dr. Rodriguez himself is fantastic and made me feel really comfortable but due to his poor nursing staff I just cannot continue to see him after the treatment I received from his staff.

I was seen in the hospital due to prescription intake caused my potassium to drop below critical. The doctor never followed up and when I called the office to ask when I should be seen, they acted as if they never knew I was in the hospital and or seen by the doctor there. I was told I would get a call back regarding follow up appointment and medication adjustments no one ever called and trying to bring it to the attention of the office manager is a joke.

Outstanding

I had made several attempts to get a refill. I made several trips to pharmacy. I called several times to dr. office. Well Sandy treated me as if I was lying and that she had spoken to the pharmacy and they said you had your medication. (she repeated this over and over. Im like I am the patient I went to the pharmacy and they did not give me this. Her tone changed and so did mine. I called back to report it to the office manager and she gives her two cents as if her opinion matters. She hung up on me. I called back to speak to someone to ensure the message got to the doctor how rude they were.
