Dr. Alfredo M Carbonell II, DO

He performed a minor hernia repair and sent me home bleeding internally. Within a 72 hour period I went septic, organ shutdown and a massive heart attack. Think twice before using this man. My life has never been the same.

I saw Dr. Carbonell for a very rare congenital malformation involving the celiac vascular trunk. There are few surgeons equipped or knowledgeable enough to treat this malformation. Dr. Carbonell was able to perform a laproscopic procedure that improved my quality of life considerably for many years. Unfortunately, the syndrome related to this malformation has resurfaced. I have moved from Greenville and find that no surgeon is knowledgeable or skilled enough to treat this condition. I will be returning to Dr. Carbonell for care. Having been involved in the medical field myself, and after receiving care from this physicin before, he is the only physician i have faith and trust in to resolve this devastating diease process

Arrived 15 min early, and after waiting 15 minutes past scheduled appt., I had to inquire as to when I would be seen. I was told another 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, and 1 hr 10 min past appt time I saw a Dr. Came in and said: I have emergencies today. what's up? It was all down hill from there. Can't speak to surgery skills, however, he is the worst communicating Dr. I have ever visited.

Even years later when I was suffering from similar problems, he kindly spoke with me, offered to see me himself, and recommended doctors closer to me. He was absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend him!
