Dr. Alfredo F. Gei, MD

After having 2 late term losses, we were referred to Dr. Gei. Dr. Gei took the time to order multiple different tests and with those results perscribed me a medication. He saw me frequently, was polite, and always made time to answer all my questions. He knows what hes doing. He also will have students with him unless you state otherwise. He made it just in time to deliver the baby, a healthy 7lb baby girl. Thank you Dr. Gei for completing our family

Dr. Gei has been my doctor through two high-risk pregnancies. He is one of the kindest and most patient doctors I’ve ever had. He always carefully listens to my questions and gives me thorough responses. When he is in the room with me, he acts as if I’m his only patient. His sonographer Jim and physicians assistant Sylvia are also amazing! It is obvious that this is more than just a job to Dr. Gei and his team, and they really do care about their work and positive outcomes for their patients.

Estefano at the front desk answered my call. I told him a I wanted to make an appointment and he asked what type of insurance I had. I told him Aetna and he said my insurance group isn't accepted there. I asked him to call Aetna to confirm, and he refused. Instead, he transferred me to Iris in billing. She proceeded to tell me my insurance group wasn't accepted there. I tried to explain to her that Aetna's website is who recommended Gei and Aetna's website says it's in network. She said "No, your group isn't accepted here." I said, "Can you call Aetna to confirm that before you automatically deny me. I heard Dr. Gei was the best and I need him as my MFM." I've already lost two babies. Her response, "No, I'm not going to check. You can come here, pay cash for everything, then I'll contact your insurance company after you pay." WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE!!?? I hung up! That is by far the worst most unsupportive staff I've ever come across! I have a picture showing they're in my network.

With Dr Gei, my high risk pregnancy and birth was an awesome and seamless experience. He is highly knowledgeable, polite and patient. My best maternal experience so far...

Just the best doctor ever. he is kind and patient. I did not expect a such amazing doctor to accompany me during this amazing journey.

Honestly if I could give Dr Gei and his team 200 stars, I would. They were absolutely phenomenal and recently saw me through a really traumatic pregnancy which could very easily have had a different outcome, but thankfully baby and I survived and are doing well. Diagnosed with High blood pressure (as high as 220/163 at the time of transfer to Dr Gei's care), and eventually pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome; with his excellent knowledge, skill, extreme care, patience, etc, he was able to effectively manage the situation resulting in an immensely positive outcome. Many thanks to Dr Gei and the team!

I couldn't say enough about Dr. Gei and his ENTIRE staff!! They are amazing, he has the BEST bedside manners I've ever seen with a provider. I am currently seeing him for being high risk and possible multiplies, he is so caring and is always there to listen to any concerns I have. Not only is he there to listen he actually puts together a plan to ensure the safest and healthiest delivery for your baby!!

Best doctor I've ever met hands down! Has followed up with me and my baby everyday for 3 weeks while my baby was in the NICU. I am truly blown away by this doctors bedside manner and genuine concern for his patients. Never leaving his care

Dr Gei is one of a kind. He is truly compassionate about his profession. He took on my case at the last minute. I found out my baby was breached 2 wks before my due date. My original OB immediately scheduled me for a C-section. I knew there had to be something more I could do. Luckily I was referred to Dr Gei and he gave me a couple of options. We decided to chance doing a version to turn baby and it was successful. I was able to have a normal delivery! He was so knowledgeable, experienced, and confident! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of his special skill set.

Dr. Alfredo Gei (pronounced â??Jayâ??) is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. After my general obstetrician detected a complication, he referred me to Dr. Gei, who specializes in Maternal Fetal Medicine (High Risk Pregnancies). By the time I made it to Dr. Gei, my complication was already too far along and was detected too late by my general obstetrician. Although my baby passed away from an extremely pre-term birth, I have full faith that Dr. Gei did all that was humanly possible to try and save my pregnancy, and had I been transferred earlier to his care, the end result would have been very different. His compassionate and empathetic nature helped turn a sad situation to a hopeful outlook for the future. Dr. Geiâ??s thorough explanations of my high-risk conditions left me better informed to face and plan for future pregnancies. Instead of rushing through our appointments, Dr. Gei took time to answer all of my questions with terms and analogies that I could easily… understand. This may explain why some Internet reviews claim long waiting times during appointments. I look forward to seeing Dr. Gei again for future pregnancies, as I am confident that I will be in good hands.
