Dr. Alfredo Mendoza, MD

Dr Mendoza was rude and did not help me at all. I originally went to him when I was having right side pain thought to be my liver. I had gained weight despite watching what I ate. He accused me of eating in secret and said lose weight you will be fine. He dismissed my concerns and issues. Skip ahead a year and they found I had thyroid cancer along with liver damage. He never did a biopsy or any tests. He is a crap doctor who could care less about his patients. DON"T SEE HIM!

Dr. Mendoza is a smart and compassionate physician. He has a great bedside manner, he is such a nice man, he thoroughly listens to patient medical concerns and then he swiftly deals with them to my total satisfaction. He is very knowledgeable about even the less frequent concerns that may arise and does what needs to be done to get you feeling better. I highly recommend him to my friends or anyone needing a gastroenterologist. My husband, who is also a physician, chooses Dr. Mendoza to also be his doctors, over all others in this field in Tampa. Douglas at his office is just fantastic and deserves mentioning. Douglas assists in scheduling Dr. Mendoza’s office appointments, surgical procedures and at times, with help getting needed scripts and/or getting Dr. Mendoza important messages. He is he best at this of anyone at any of my many doctors offices. Douglas is extremely professional and efficient. He’s also very nice and able to work around your schedule. He is great at communicating… needed info and definitely goes the extra mile for Dr. Mendoza’s patients. It’s just so great dealing with him! Douglas makes things that could otherwise be stressful, easy and carefree. Assistance like this is not a given at doctors offices these days so he really stands out! Overall, it is a pleasure to go to Dr. Mendoza and to have dealings with Douglas!

I highly recommend Dr. Mendoza. His office staff is friendly and efficient. I waited approximately 10 minutes before seeing him. He listened carefully to all of my comments and questions and provided thorough explanations. He is beyond kind and reassuring.

Dr mendoza is not anymore with thgg or lifelink, seems that it have been for several month now..which is a shame. I have been treated by him since 2009, always very sweet and professional, taking his time to explain everything that i needed to know . He is practicing in tampa but I dont know where yet.

Great doctor! Best I have ever seen! I barely wait for him and he is the best in his practice. I am recomending him to all.

It stated that he is accepting new patients....not. Bait and switch. They would recommend another dr within the practice. Well, I waited 3 months to see one of the doctors in his practice, then 15 days prior to my appt, it was cancelled by the office by a letter, no explanation. Then they had enough nerve to ask me to reschedule and the next appt will be in the next five months. My health is failing and even if he is highly recommended, he isn't accepting new patients and I have no time to reschedule with any of his partners.
