Dr. Ali Aboutaleb, MD

Avoid Ali, he’s not a doctor. He will not care to find out what’s wrong with you, will not treat you with respect, and overall will not care if you live or die. This is the most dangerous type of “doctor”. Shame on you Kaiser for hiring this phony scam artist

Claremont Mesa facility is beautiful, modern and efficient. The experience with Dr Aboutaleb was horrible: zero patient interaction skills and spent very little time doing any sort of examination.

The worst experience.

After reading some of the other review I was a little nervous about bring assigned to Dr. Aboutaleb, but I was pleasantly surprised when I met him. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, he really made me feel confident in him as a doctor. His nursing staff was also very helpful, pleasant, and efficient. Great doctor, thanks!

Does not diagnose issues. Does not even try. Orders standard labs and that's it. Impossible to get a referral to a specialist from him. Waste of time!

Unfortunately, he kept failing to accurately diagnose my illness. This happened on two different occasions. I explained my symptoms clearly but he just missed or overlooked them, I guess. I had no choice to see another Dr. which caught it immediately. His ego is getting the better of him and just a fact that he is a Dr., makes him he thinks is perfect. Bedside manner? None existent. Also, his favorite line is "I have another patient waiting...". It makes you want to say "well you have one sitting right in front of you"!!!

He spent enough time to listen my list of medical problems, explained my medical condition in easy words and was very respectful and professional.

I think this guy must take some anger control management course, so impatient, so rude, and has a huge Ego. Wrong person for such a great position. He was so tense while speaking to me, not answering my question well. I am not surprised if he is living alone, no one can handle him. Kaiser should review his satisfaction before signing his contract each year. I paid for my insurance to receive care, not being bombard by a naughty brag, super angry physician.Get help man.

You're allowed to have a bad day. You are NOT allowed to take it out on your patients. Unwarranted reaction and unprofessional. Take a personal day if you have to. DO NOT take it out on anyone else. Physicians are expected to adhere to a standard of conduct that exudes compassion and care. This was NOT demonstrated today. According to the receptionist, this occurred with other patients as well that same day.
