Dr achira treated me for my thyroid condition, he helped me tremendously, the staff are caring and polite, I would highly recommend him

Tammy, one of the staff at this office, is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever come into contact with in my whole life. She phoned me after I had been waiting 45 minutes for my Televisit appointment to tell me she could not verify my insurance so the doctor would not be seeing me unless I wanted to pay cash. I have COBRA insurance through Aetna which has been verified through WageWorks that IS active but is not reflecting that on Aetna's end. Instead of offering to help me, she was very snippy and said she would reschedule my appointment for whenever I think Aetna might be reflecting my active status. Because I guess I am a fortune-teller? When I asked to speak to the office manager Tammy became very combative. She ended the phone call and I called back and asked that Dr. Achira call me as soon as possible regarding issues with my medication and Tammy said the office manager would be calling me back later and I stated I need the doctor himself to call me as it is… regarding medication issues and Tammy stated: "I just said he would." No, she had said the office manager would be calling me back. She cannot even keep track of what she says. I am in Customer Service and I would have been fired if I spoke to a customer the way she spoke to me. Her defense was she had "not said anything rude", while her words were not necessarily rude, her tone, treatment, and general lack of caring and apparent ignorance are very unsettling.

Great doctor and amazing nurse, named Tauta. She followed up with me with test results and really made sure I got the right treatment. Very very pleased.

Dr Ali Achira and his staff deserve a standing ovation. I was able to make an appointment and be seen within one week. I have seen other endocrinologists in the past who always recommended more insulin. This was never the answer for me. Dr Ali Chita devised a plan that dramatically brought my sugars from high 200-300s down to a normal range within a months time. Both he and his staff provide stellar service. I am truly grateful and applaud them from the bottom of my heart.

After months of health problems, my PCP recommended that I see an endocrinologist. I was feeling pretty rough and anxious to see someone right away. But every place I called said it would be weeks or months to get me in for an initial assessment! I was so relieved when Dr. Achira was able to see me within one week. It was a long week but he really helped me. I highly recommend Dr. Achira for his responsiveness and quality of care. He takes time to answer questions and explain diagnosis and treatment. I have been feeling so much better under his care.
