Dr. Ali Ashmead, MD

He was great with my babies at the hospital and he is still great now that he is their permanent doctor.

Both my kids have been going to Dr Ali since birth. Great doctor! Great staff! Very professional and knowledgeable. Definetely recommend.

I choose Dr. Ali because he was the pediatric where my son was born and I've been going there for 3 years. They are always open to giving me appointments even the same day and they always give me my desired time (usually late). They stay late to see the kids and I never feel rushed. He answers all my questions. I'm happy I chose him and being a first time mom- I was happy when he said, "Feel free to call me anytime, I'm a phone call away."

Dr. Ali is a great doctor! The wait time is usually long but that is because so many people trust his opinion and he tries to accommodate as many patients as he possibly can. It is always worth the wait. Also I have seen the longest waiting period when a lot of children are ill.

I called 3 1/2 weeks in advance to schedule my 4 year olds first visit with this Dr. (seeking a new Dr. due to a recent move) and I was given an appt. far into the next month as I was only asked to get my childs old records from his previous Dr. upon our arrival. I just recently called to confirm this appt. since I'd received no reminder from the office and I forgot my scheduled date and time, when the office receptionist (or nurse) who took my appt did not input our infor. the nurser looked this up using my sons birthdate and did not have any other information on him. This appt was suppose to be setup almost a month ago. The office worker then proceeded to impatiently repeat to me that 'we don't have your information in our system' as an end to this call, without even knowing or asking for my sons name or any other additional or helpful information. After I had to force this information on her, she confirmed that the staff did not indeed log my information in almost 4 weeks ago and… then asked about my insurance. I provided her with my insurance and she told me that my insurance is not accepted with them although I found their information on my insurance providers website. I was then being rushed off the phone by her, when I had to ask her 'why don't you just tell me what I need to do to make this appt?' After all that, she told me "well actually we are not even accepting any new patients" but the provider website clearly says "yes" they are accepting new patients. If this office is a reflection of the professionalism and integrity of the Dr. and an indication of how my son will be treated, then I recommend finding another pediatrician. I do not know this Dr. yet his accredibility seems solid, but sometimes Dr's can get too big for their practice and hire on terrible staff. Dr Ali please do something about your staff- they are sending people away and not being very efficient for your practice in regards to honesty and customer satisfaction, unless this is what you desire.
