Dr. Ali Eghtesadi is an Endodontist specializing in root canals and endodontic microsurgery. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) as an undergraduate student earning a B.S. in biology with honors. He then went on to attend the University of Maryland Dental School on a full academic scholarship, which he earned for being in the top 5% of his entering dental class. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Eghtesdai was accepted for General Practice at the prestigious Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. After the completion of his general residency, Dr. Eghtesadi went on to pursue a specialty in Endodontics at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Eghtesadi is greatly concerned with patient care and explaining treatment procedures to his patients in detail. Making his patients comfortable and reducing their anxiety is of great importance to him.
Dr. Eghtesadi enjoys reading, …mountain biking, and playing basketball.

Went to Dr. Eghtesadi for an emergency root canal. Saw me the same day, got everything processed and I was in and out. My pain went away by the second day and I couldn’t be any more thankful!! He is the only Endodontist I will ever go to.

Dr. Eghtesadi was able to do my consult and root canal in the same day. I would highly recommend his office! The staff was amazing and friendly! I couldn’t ask for a better endodontist! They deserve every single star ??

Doctor Eghtesadi is an excellent clinician. I am a retired dentist and did not reveal that to him. From his bed side manner, diagnosis to treatment he was excellent! Very satisfied with my visit with Dr. E.

My son was seen by this doctor, yes he does give an exorbitant of anesthesia, above and beyond so that he was left numb till the following day. He was seen on a Friday and had complications afterwards, doctor never returned multiple calls. This is unacceptable. I hate writing this kind of review, but patient be forewarned. There are other endodontists you can use.

I was not happy with the root canal I recieved from him. I felt the worst pain throughout the entire procedure and then he proceeded to tell me I should get nitrous next time. He gave me so many shots in my mouth, I couldn’t move. Then his asstistants mask didn’t even cover his nose! I continue to feel pain months later. I went back for a follow up, at which time he proceeded to put the cooling agent on that tooth, followed my front tooth, which was so painful! He then told me I needed to pay for a mri to determine if the tooth he did the root canal on had a crack. Not to mention, he never told me didn’t take my insurance! Never again.

Dr. Eghtesadi is really good at what he does. He took a very dreaded procedure and made it very smooth.

I was referred to Dr. Eghtesadi by my general dentist. Its always hard to know that you're getting a root canal. My procedure took two visits, but he was very detail oriented. Instructions were very clear. I would recommend Dr. E.
