he saved my life 25 years ago--and he has been my primary ever since

Dr. Emami is my primary care, (or was, i am looking for new PCP) and the only job that he has to refer you to specialty, and he fails to do that. He makes to go there for an appointment to give you referral for specialty, and doing so he fails to provide that. It has been 4 months now, I called the office more than 100 times, I went to his office and talked to himself personally and he promised to take care of the matter himself, nothing has happened yet. I received bill from the specialty doctor 2 times now and Dr. Emami's office does not response to my voice messages. His staff is the worse. she is rude, she does not know how to do her job, and when confronted she is impatient and impolite. I have not had any worse experiences with any other PCP than I did with Dr emami. And I will definitely not recommend him for anything

I have been contacting the office for about 1 month without even a return call from their staff on my Mother's health. They have been using an answering service and although they give Dr. Emami's staff the information, they will not return my calls. An outside agency even tried contacting that office without any results. My mother has been in the emergency room 3 times. Looking for a new Urologist for my Mother.

Dr. Emami and his staff are excellent!

He is the best nephrologist. Not only does he treat patients well, but he also gives patients knowledge to prevents diseases.

The office staff appeared to be confused and overwhelmed. , very disorganized the girl with the Iranian accent. Was abrupt and did not listen to me. She'd seemed annoyed to be there. Dr. Emami was distracted and really did not listen to me

Dr. Emami is a very good doctor, caring and compassionate. Office seems confused and over burdened at times

This doctor is right on with his treatment and if you do not listen to him you are the loser. The best accurate diagnosis that I have been in contact with,always available and returns phone calls. As a diabetic I want my kidneys in his hands.

very dogmatic;chastises instead of encouraging complieance

I was a patient of Dr.Emami's for about 17 years. He was phenomenal in listening to my concerns and giving me his complete attention for as long as I needed it. He returns calls promptly and generally is as caring an individual as any physician I have ever known. When I became ill with lymphoma, he visited me in the hospital the night I got the diagnosis because I asked him to. Unbelievable! The only possible issue I had with him was that I often did not obey his instructions concerning medication because I am somewhat pill "phobic" and he has no patience with that kind of behavior. I don't blame him. It was my own fault. I would recommend him highly as a doctor and a partner in all of your health care.
