Dr. Ali Hamraz, MD

Dr. Ali Hamraz is an endocrinologist with dual specialization in diabetes and metabolism as well as internal medicine. He completed his medical education at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences before pursuing his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Hamraz furthered his training with a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism through the Sunrise Health GME Consortium. With 27 years of clinical experience, he brings extensive expertise to hormone and metabolic disorders. Dr. Hamraz is fluent in English.

Dr. Hamraz practices at multiple locations throughout the Bay Area, including Walnut Creek and Mountain View. He treats patients with bone health conditions like osteoporosis and juvenile osteoporosis, as well as those managing obesity and weight concerns. His procedural expertise includes bone density testing to assess fracture risk and thyroid ultrasounds to evaluate hormone-producing glands.
