Dr. Ali Ahmed Karrar, MD

Dr. Karrar is a gentlemen period. He treats you with the utmost respect, yes understanding him is challenging, but he understands your pain! Tried to go a different route with another more popular Dr. But her office is a train wreck, waited sometimes 2 weeks for a response, in mean time pain was over the top, an resorted other pain options. He does listen, he does respond an was prompt on pain management. Give the man a chance, people/patients are hard to understand too. Bless you Dr. Karrat an loving staff/Charity :)

Diagnosed with RA via blood labs with primary care, I was turned over to rheumatologist for treatment. In view of all labs in my file for first visit, the blood labs were repeated (?), second visit the labs once again confirmed RA diagnosed, now referred to a different specialist to confirm a related symptom, plus ultra sound, Xrays and more blood work. Third visit for result and Rx. Now insurance approval for Rx. It's now investment of 3 co-pays and 8 weeks of intense pain and still no treatment waiting on the insurance clearance! To complicate and prolong treatment the Dr is only in this office two times each month!

Only advice, find a different Rheumotologist. Dr. Karrar is nearly impossible to understand and seeing him is just a waste of time. I feel for the office staff that has to wake up and go to work everyday in that office.

Very difficult to get into. Long waits. Don't ask for records, you won't get them.

This dr.(?) is totally incompetent. I waited for almost an hour, which is totally unacceptable, and then he was indifferent to my explanation of the pain I was experiencing. He did absolutely NOTHING except charge me! I only wish I could give minus stars.

Dr. saw me thru my Arthritic Crises by carefully managing my disease and me medically. He carefully got me on the right medicines, and during the periods of my crises, provided me with emotional empathetic support. I highly recommend him

Misdiagnosed me with lupus. Did not delve into my problems enough.
