I discovered a collection account on my credit report for a visit dated December 6, 2024 under this physician’s name, but I have never had an appointment or interaction with them. When I contacted Houston Methodist Willowbrook directly, I was informed that the only visit on record for me is from February 2021 with a completely different medical record number. There is no record of the 2024 visit under my information. This situation raises serious concerns about billing accuracy and patient identification. Being associated with a medical visit that does not appear in the hospital’s own records has negatively impacted my credit and caused unnecessary stress. I strongly encourage a review of how patient records and billing are handled to prevent errors like this from affecting others.
