Dr. Ali Z Pashapour

My wife had a good appointment previously with Dr. Pashapour. But this week, she had a follow-up appointment for 3:30, and Dr. Perez showed up past 4:15 and said he had been waiting in another exam room. Where was the staff? Waiting for 45 minutes? Then Dr. Perez proceeds to completely confuse my wife with a disorganized diatribe, so much so my wife has to ask "Have you looked at my MRI?" The diatribe also included a condescending lecture on body awareness. Including talking about what his wife does to relax. When my wife said that Dr. Pashapour recommended a particular therapy, Dr. Perez said he "would have to have a talk with him because he (Dr. Perez) is the TMJ expert." And then Dr. Perez recommends professional physical therapy but then quickly says essentially "but you can also also look at TMJ exercises on You Tube". What? Dr. Pashapour was a good on her first appointment, but Dr. Perez was not helpful nor respectful on her follow-up. In fact, he added confusion. Everyone has… an off day now and again, but one expects a higher level of professionalism and respect from health professionals in the Washington DC area.
