Dr. Ali Pootrakul

Ali Pootrakul was the oral surgeon who was supposed to do a simple tooth extraction for my mother. A procedure that is covered by her insurance. After his office tried to upsell $4,000 worth of oral procedures she did not want, he simply refused to SEE his patient in person. His "assistant" said the doctor is very busy and cannot see his patient, the fact that he saw her XRays was enough. I asked several times for my mother to be seen by Pootrakul, after all that's why we came and waited for almost 2 hours. When I stepped outside of the procedure room, saw him and asked if he was the doctor, he awkwardly laughed looking at the other office staff, said no and walked away. It was him, but he did not want to do a procedure of the patient refused to add on to it. Dangerously unprofessional. His behavior deserves a complaint to the dental board.

The Surgeon took my wisdom teeth out under general anesthesia. I woke up refreshed and didn't realize that I had surgery. There was not much swelling either. It was a much better experience than what other people had told me about.
