Dr. Alia Shbeeb, MD

Our child Valentino died two days after delivery following a serious medical error made by Dr SHbeeb Alia and his medical team at Riverside Hospital in January 2021. We have had no explanation from this doctor on the cause of death, nor even a word from the director of the establishment to offer us his condolences. We took on a medical malpractice lawyer in September 2021. Two complaints were filed in September 2021 because there were several victims: our surrogate who lost her uterus and an ovary and the in-utero death of Valentino at the time of hospital care. Medical expert reports have been made confirming the medical error following the taking of Cytotec and drug diverted from its use and which causes these fatal complications with the other treatments done by Kaiser. The Pfizer laboratory itself warns and informs of the possible side effects when it is used during delivery (uterine rupture and death of the mother and child, risk of hypoxia, etc.), the doctor is therefore… responsible for the therapies he uses. The ANSM (National Medicines Safety Agency) in France and the FDA in the USA and even the Pfizer laboratory have warned of the very serious consequences of the use of this medicine during childbirth on abnormal uterine contractions, fetal death, death mother, uterine rupture or perforation. Fetal suffering was not detected one hour before delivery according to medical expertise and the continuation of oxytocin treatment caused this tragedy. For two years our life has been destroyed, we have been fighting and we will fight all our lives and we will put all our energy into publicizing this affair thanks to journalists in France and the USA above all, thanks to the foundations and associations that support us, we will write history of Valentino and above all to inform as many people as possible so that this drama cannot start again. The hospital does not always recognize the medical error to date and following our last expertise canceled the appointment with a judge in December. Valentino and our surrogate were in perfect health until this tragedy happened. The ignorance of the hospital, of the director of the Kaiser hospital in Riverside, of Dr. Shbeeb Alia, shows the disinterest in our history, it is unacceptable and we will continue by all means to defend our child and our interests. Justice for Valentino.

The absolutely best doctor! Over and over she proved to be caring and went above and beyond with the birth of our daughter. Wasn’t on call and came anyways to check on me. Checked in numerous times after birth. Then our daughter was admitted to NICU for over a week. Dr. Shbeeb came in numerous time to check on her. Would even call to let me know how she thought her progress was. I have never experienced such amazing care!! I am eternally greatful!

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Alia Shbeeb. She was always extremely kind and efficient, she made our experience so much better and was super understanding about our nerves. Dr. Alia Shbeeb is the most caring & an amazing Dr I've ever met. She is thoughtful and thorough with the care she delivers. I can’t recommend Dr. Alia Shbeeb enough!!

All I can say is phenominal. She is an amazing Dr with a clear passion for what she does. 16 months after having my twins boys and I still look back on my prenatal care in such awe.
