Dr. Alice Pauline Lawrence, MD

Alice Lawrence takes the time to listen and truly see what is inside of the children she is evaluating. She does research and finds new and innovative ways that are truly life changing for those with disabilities. She is kind and so gifted in her job!

Dr Lawrence is wonderful. I didn't know at first how to take her because she is extremely direct and to the point, and I see how she could put some people off, but she was right on with my toddler's diagnoses and needs. I have liked her more and more with each subsequent visit. She diagnosed a condition and prescribed treatment for an issue I'd been discussing with our pediatrician for over a year! It took her only 30 seconds to notice and diagnose it. I hadn't even mentioned it to her. She will tell you what to do for your child and she expects you to do it. Well, duh! Why else would you be there??!! If you don't ask questions she will quickly move on, which is reasonable. She is not a mind reader to know what you don't understand. However, if you ask her questions, she will not end the appointment until you tell her all is well. The patients come first with her, but you must take some initiative and responsibility for asking what you do not know. She will be my daughter's doctor… for as long as my daughter continues to need her help. I hope she never leaves our area. If she does I will follow her for our appointments. She is the best of the best!
